It's simple.  Pick up the phone and call a prospect or client.  Think about it for a second... Nobody Answers a Phone That Doesn't Ring!

Don't we often get really mad when a "solicitor" calls trying to sell us something? Nobody, I mean nobody, likes to make cold phone calls.  And nobody likes to to get cold phone calls.

Not only is it annoying, but ....

It's not about making friends.

In this day and age when electronic messaging and other communication is readily used, it seems peculiar that we'd still be printing and distributing company brochures.  Even more peculiar is the fact that for the past 5-7 years or more our clients only care about themselves.

Every great sale (or referral) starts by asking questions - and these questions are essential for qualifying contacts throughout each step of the journey to determine if they are qualified prospects.
What are these questions?

Since the late 1990's until about 2010, relationship marketing was "all the rage" in the marketing/sales world.  
Fast forward to 2023....

There are so many ways for salespeople to approach, present and sell a mitigation or restoration job to a homeowner. Too many (actually most) salespeople are focused on making the sale.
Wrong...

I rarely 'toot my own horn' - so bear with me as I talk about how and why marketers need training.  

There is usually an inclination to directly blame the lack of sales or job referrals on salespeople and/or marketers.  "They can't sell",  "They don't close," etc.  

If one of your trusted employees came to you and said "I thin k we have a problem - I think we offer too many services," what would you say to them? They might even say "Sales are suffering because we confuse prospects with so many different services, and because of that, people are les likely to but."
