An eleventh-hour deal has seen Canada included in a US trade deal with Mexico. But, as Phil Dobbie discusses with NAB’s David de Garis, it’s not NAFTA. Whatever the differences it has buoyed markets and contributed to increased risk sentiment. Yet the mood hasn’t helped the Aussie dollar, or been impacted by continued concerns over the Italian budget. They also look ahead to the RBA decision today, even if any move would be a colossal surprise.
