Show Notes – Mark’s Motivational Thursday Podcast
In this episode of Motivational Thursday, I joined Mark to share a powerful mental technique taken from Adam Eason’s book Hypnosis for Runners. We explored how hypnosis-based strategies can help runners (and non-runners alike) improve focus, motivation, and performance by working with the subconscious mind rather than against it.
I also shared how this technique can be applied practically in training and everyday life, making it accessible even for those who are new to hypnosis or mental training.
I’m really looking forward to continuing this conversation next week when I’ll be welcoming Adam Eason himself onto my podcast, where we’ll dive deeper into hypnosis, performance, and the mindset behind sustainable success.

🎙️ Motivational Thursday with Mark — Interview with Steven Blake, Creator of OldPain2Go®
Episode Title: Releasing Old Pain with Steven Blake — The Power of OldPain2Go®
Episode Description:
In this inspiring episode of Motivational Thursday, Mark sits down with Steven Blake, the creator of OldPain2Go®, to explore his groundbreaking approach to helping people release chronic pain that no longer serves a purpose. Steven explains his teachings clearly and passionately, sharing numerous real-life examples of clients who have experienced remarkable results through this method.
Steven discusses the philosophy behind OldPain2Go®, how it works with the mind-body connection, and why understanding the purpose of pain is key to letting it go. Listeners will gain insight into how belief, communication with the subconscious, and a shift in mindset can lead to deep and lasting relief.
Whether you’re someone dealing with long-term pain, a therapist, or simply curious about alternative approaches to wellness, this episode will leave you motivated and enlightened.
OldPain2Go® is a mind-based method developed by Steven Blake, designed to help people let go of old, unnecessary pain messages. It’s not hypnosis or a medical treatment, but a process that works with the subconscious mind to reassess whether pain is still needed as a warning signal.
The method is based on the idea that once the body has healed from an injury or issue, ongoing pain is often just a “memory” being replayed by the brain. OldPain2Go® helps individuals communicate with their mind to switch off that outdated signal — allowing the body and mind to move forward pain-free.
Steven explains how and why he created OldPain2Go®.
The science and psychology behind why pain sometimes persists.
Real client success stories and transformations.
How the OldPain2Go® process works in practice.
The importance of mindset, belief, and communication with the subconscious.
Practical insights on how anyone can start letting go of old pain — physical or emotional.
