In 1883, in the Badlands of North Dakota the Marquis de Mores, a Frenchy aristocrat, tried his hand at cattle ranching and beef processing and failed. Didn't help that he was tried for murder at the same time. Throw in a Jewish Conspiracy or two and have the story of Marquis de Mores and the founding of the town of Medora, North Dakota, gateway to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Bully!
