In addition to introducing Shia LaBeouf to the world, we talk about how this movie gives us some strong female characters, effectively removes voice-over narration from a medium often told in narration, and what favorite books from our childhood deserve their own movie remake. *SPOILERS*

So we watched Aquaman and Shazam! this week, and have many questions about this cinematic universe, like who owns Superman's branding, and does he get residuals? What would come out the other end of a Zachary Levi prism? Why are Jason Momoa's abs so compelling? I don't know if we find any answers, but join us as we take a look at the fun side of DC! *SPOILERS, but only in the second half of the episode*

We return after a spring break packed with pop culture to go higher, further, faster with Captain Marvel! We get bogged down in the real life events surrounding this release, but eventually, we find our humanity and talk about standing up when we fall down and Sammy J's love of cats, as well as the larger picture of Avengers: End Game. Also, we really earn the explicit tag on this one - you've been warned. *SPOILERS, but only general ones.*

Literally, Right Before Aaron poses many questions. How can a director waste such an all-star cast? How is this movie only two years old when its tropes and ideas about women are practically ancient? How can an indie movie title be so aggressively twee? I don't know if we'll find all the answers without getting angry, but we'll try to move on from it a lot harder than our protagonist.

Often paired with It Happened One Night as one of the great comedies, does it live up to last year's Valentines Day episode?

Never heard of Surfer: Teen Confronts Fear? Neither had we, until we saw it, and now we can't stop talking about it, and if it truly is The Room for a new generation. We answer burning questions like: Was that whale carcass real or CGI? What would happen if half of your movie was home video montages of adequate surfing? Was there an actual plot?
