Halloween 2019 continues with our review of the latest Addams Family movie! Make it through the open where we examine what exactly a chain pool is, and you'll find such classic MTTI goof-em-ups as: cursing the existence of fondant, confusing Stephen Sondheim for Barry Sonnenfeld, far too many puns, and eventually a review of the film in question, where we attack the one consistently weak point of every Addams Family movie.

Thirty years ago, Weird Al Yankovic took to the big screen with his tale of a plucky underdog television station and the failing dreamer who used it to win both the heart of a small town and the woman he loved. Apparently, it was the worst movie ever, at least according to critics at the time, so we're taking a look at the now timely message of local broadcasting overcoming larger news stations, the inherently tricky art of the parody, and why some movies can just be OK.

Is it possible to have a book and its movie adaptation be so different, and yet both still so good? That's what we discuss today as we take a look at Howl's Moving Castle, and see how the differences in character motivation, personality development, and plot structure create two unique and beautiful stories. Also, Howl's a giant nerd. Not featured - the ten missing minutes where we debated whether Castle in the Sky and Castle in the Air were the same story. Spoilers! They weren't. *ACTUAL SPOILERS TOO*

The Summer of Disney finally draws to a close, with the movie we've been putting off all summer long - the remake of The Lion King. We hang out briefly in Compliment Town before racing towards Negativeville in our comparison of the two properties, along with an exclusive performance of a new original song (give us Oscar please), some Blu-Ray re-release deep cuts, and a truly terrible Beyonce impression along the way. The Summer of Disney enters the motionless, hot, breathless first week of August, which means it's time to talk Tuck Everlasting!
