  • Vision of Lashes with Sadé Sellers

Quincy and Kay welcome Sade to the podcast and discover she’s an actual star of the MCU due to her role in the crowd scene of Iron Man 2. After reviewing the year in which Misty Copeland made ballet history and Hamilton made its Broadway debut, Sade offers her hot Citizen Take: Age of Ultron is the most important film in the MCU. Quincy notices references to Endgame and though she foresaw Pietro’s destiny, it still shook her. All agree that experimenting with A.I. never ends well and that Elizabeth Olsen is an amazing actress; though they argue over whether they’d date Vision. In stretch and share, Quincy shouts out Mortal Kombat, Sade helps her community get vaccinated, and Kay praises Black Lady Sketch Show and looks forward to Quincy reveling in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Then they dive into false eyelashes. Quincy gives a thorough lesson on how to measure and position the lashes onto the face and reveals that blue bloops means the glue is working. Since they feel like they’re doing arts and crafts, Kay recounts a story about the middle school test that told her she was not creative. Kay finally has her most successful makeup application as she applies fake eyelashes and the final result looks accurate. However, Sade’s initial like of her lash look changes as it makes her feel dangerously hot.

  • O-o-h Guardian, Things Are Gonna Get Colorful with Jiavani Linayao

Kay and Quincy are joined by their funny friend Jiavani. Quincy drops the epic reveal that Guardians of the Galaxy has overtaken Incredible Hulk as her favorite. Not only did she cry twice, but she delves deep into the meaning of Groot’s organic matter. Kay shares her Parks and Recreation fandom and her love for Chris Pratt’s hilarious, fresh version of a Marvel hero. Quincy’s citizen take deems Ronan as a nerd who needs to make friends, Kay incorrectly deems Ronan as a child of Thanos and Jiavani comes for Lee Pace’s performance but appreciates how he embraced his crusty makeup. They also sing their praises for the supporting cast and their hunger for more of Gamora’s backstory. Then they stretch and share about hilly walks, getting vaccinated via motorcycle and stepping in cat poo. Finally, they dive into a colorful makeup conclusion as they tackle advanced eyeshadow and the cut crease. Jiavani shows off her skincare tools and brush collection while sharing Quincy’s love for mochi donuts. Then Kay recalls using makeup boxes for stationary as she uses her colors in the wrong order and buffs outside of her eyeline.

  • A Dark Winter's Kiss with Hakim Hill

Kay, Quincy, and Hakim dissect what the Russo brothers brought with their Marvel directorial debut of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (genre-mashing). Captain America = more dark. Story-wise: he's darker because he's questioning leadership. Visually storytelling: elevators dropping into the dark. "They were going DOWN a lot." Bromance = is this how guy's make friends? By working out with each other/spotting? Black Widow not being romance line great. Why did it take Black Widow to get her own movie? Do we need Captain America 1? Hakim's citizen take: this is a perfect movie. Quincy puts on earmuffs again. Quincy's citizen take: this is the longest and most expesive TV series in the world. Kay's epic battle. to Quincy misses after credits. Bucky is so still! Nick Fury's van needs an eject button, and it was written for Samuel L. Jackson. Kay's citizen take: in an alternative universe somewhere, Samuel L. Jackson IS Nick Fury. Self-pat: comedy people can do everything!!! + comedy/horror/action go hand-in-hand. Don't stack the elevator with Capt. Nah. Chris Evans is a Boston guy who does comedy. Kay and Quincy try to explain to Hakim what an awning is. Kay knocks it out again with a Phase 3 connection. Hakim's pigeon balcony problem + imprint. Went to a day spa + CBD oil. Quincy pooped in a hole. They swap chapstick paranoia + favorite brands. Quincy and Hakim trade zombie apocalypse survival methods.

  • What Ether Does in the Eyeshadows

After commenting on director Alan Taylor’s fashionable credits and the short call sheet for Sandra Bullock’s Gravity, Kay proclaims The Office as MCU canon as she recounts her run-in with John Krasinski during her intern days. Then they plunge into the Ether’s possession of Jane and how it mimics a monthly Red Wedding. They also appreciate Rene Russo’s badass moves, Thor and Loki’s brotherly dynamic post-prison breakout and Malekith’s on point braids. As they stretch, Kay digs into her hula dancing past while Quincy reveals she’s calling to Heimdall for the bifrost IRL. Then the colors come out as they blend, build, diffuse and buff shadow onto their eyes. Though, Kay interprets all those words to just mean ‘move the color around.’

  • 99 Suits & A Cat Eye: One

After reviewing the pop music moments and reunions of 2013, Quincy and Kay delve into Tony Stark’s mental health in the third installment of the Iron Man franchise. Quincy reveals she needs to be careful of spoiler-y internet clicks and points out the disadvantages of a criminal rendezvous at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Kay reveals she shares Happy’s fandom for Downton Abbey and enjoys scenes with plane rescues and jumping in and out of suits. Then Quincy and Kay shimmy while they express their feelings about woman-spreading and (Trigger Warning!) the rise in AAPI hate crimes. They give each other a virtual hug before tackling the cat eye, where Kay learns her first time application is not accurate. However, they agree her look is great for getting dumped at the end of a foam party in Ibiza.

  • Finished This Crazy Bag of Cats with Kim Cooper

Quincy and Kim team up with Kim Cooper to discuss The Avengers. After Kim delights in watching Quincy read the copy for the first time, Quincy makes sure she knows how to say Tesseract and Kay blows their minds when she points out references to Phase 2. They also drop a series of Citizen Takes, like Iron Man is cool, Gwyneth’s goop will get you and Hawkeye is impressive. After they proclaim Minari and Raya and the Last Dragon the ultimate sob fest, they finish Phase 1 with powder and blush. But even though they achieve a post-coital look, they’re still learning how to watch until the very end for the aftercredits.

  • Raise A Brow To Cap with Ai Yoshihara

Kay and Quincy quickly learn that Ai is on the Quincy side of the M&M spectrum when Ai lists off all the Marvel movies she’s watched: Wonder Woman and Batman! Ai has real concerns for Agent Carter, and her Citizen’s Take that Captain America didn’t do anything devolves into our three heroines debating the practicality of Red Skull ripping off his very good villain face. And a word of advice? Hide better when you’re sneaking into a nuclear plant. Ai shares her lofty goal of bridging Americans and immigrants, which leads Quincy to wonder if Americans are in a toxic relationship with the British. No one is impressed by Quincy’s newfound discovery of sliced oranges, and two makeup thematic tie-ins grace this episode.

  • Horny Eyes for Thor with Kaitlyn Tanimoto

It’s a historic episode as Quincy and Kay welcome their first guest, Kaitlyn Tanimoto. A review of 2011 brings shock over 2011 being ten years ago, spoilers of Game of Thrones and Kay being wrong about Call Me Maybe’s release year. They also show the world what it looks like when three Asian women get Domhnall Gleeson’s name and patronage completely wrong. As they dive into Thor, they swoon over Norse Gods waiting/coming for them and are not surprised that Kaitlyn relates to Loki. Then, they share their love for the 1997 Cinderella film, worry over Quincy’s fumigation protocol and learn about Kaitlyn’s time on set during COVID. In the episode’s epic conclusion, they quiz each other on their eyelined eyes and thematically connect Thor to mascara.

  • Of My Face and Iron Men

Quincy and Kay realize that Iron Man 2 has more than two Iron Men and that everything in Quincy’s past only feels like three years ago. Quincy and Kay also discuss iconic atom scenes, celebrate the arrival of Black Widow, plan a trip to Randy’s donuts and get stuck in an epic Mickey mixup. As they stretch, they share an appreciation for Key and Peele and choosy cats. Then an exploration of foundation history births a connection between YOLO and brothels.

  • Concealer Smash

Quincy and Kay dive into The Incredible Hulk and discuss the importance of all the colors, both in the visuals and characters. They also cover the connection between food and their movie opinions, an all-inclusive MCU mindset, the cuteness of Ed Norton and their appreciation for the anger of Liv Tyler. Then, Kay shares a cathartic moment involving Kamala Harris (sorry for the mispronunciations) and Quincy realizes that when it comes to concealer, generosity is not a virtue.
