In Justice we have the big showdown with...Dad? Not Tensen's Dad...and well maybe not technically Damon Conquest's either? Anyway, lots of ACTION! Over in DP7 one member of the crew leaves team in a genuinely emotional moment and the rest of the team gives exorcism a shot. After all that we have a brief discussion of Religion in comics and the New Universe.

Two of our New Universe teams collide as the Kickers get a request to reunite Stephanie (from DP7) with her son, and deal with "the clinic." In Merc, Mark Hazzard gets a request from Mal to help rescue his sister, but all is not as it seems.

No dogs or gerbils were killed in either issue this week, though it was a close call. Nightmask was still an explosive issue with lots of trouble from a mob of merry gangsters planting bombs everywhere. Over in PSI force we meet another teen paranormal who calls himself the Stalker! He sounds like trouble.

Ken Connell is finally going to make a decision that could shake the New Universe to its core...he's going to stick with just one lady!!! But will it be Barb or Debbie??? Also something about terrorists. Over in Spitfire and the Troubleshooters our main character Jenny is locked in Jail while Eduardo "strong arms" Giotti plans to save the day. But will Ken Connell (yeah he's in this book too) get in the way?

In Justice, our hero Tensen is getting ready for a showdown with Damon Conquest that will not go how anyone expects. He also has some long distance girlfriend trouble! In this issue of DP7 our squad gets a reprieve from the Clinic hunting them only to end up having all sorts of Wompus-related problems!

The Kickers get back to playing football, but their first game is against a very dirty Raiders "cough" I mean Wreckers team. Will Jack use his totally not cheating powers for good? Or stoop to their level? In Merc, Mark Hazzard is in jail. feeling like he has some tough choices to make. As his kid says though, whenever you have a problem you just shoot somebody!

We also take a moment to compare Jack Magniconte, Captain America and Golden Age Superman.

Nightmask finally comes face to face with Lady Midnight, but is it on a date? a fight? something in-between? And what does she have in common with Keith's sister Teddy? Dreams, action and making out in this issue! In PSI-Force this issue focuses on Kathy who attempts to make an escape from the control of the Psi-Hawk, who is totally gross, right? Yuck! At the end we discuss what it might really be like to be a teen with powers.

Before we get to the comics, we spend a little time discussing the lack of super heroes in the New Universe. After that we dive in to Star Brand where Ken is spends a lot of time on the couch of sadness and over in Spitfire we get some art from a famous artist who drew Coyote and Infinity Inc. Oh and I guess there are some deaths, arrests, and explosions too!

This automotive combat episode! Tensen's road trip kicks off with a nice stop in a roadside diner in Oklahoma, what could go wrong? Over in DP7 our team hits the road as well, but does sunscreen protect against psychoplasmic pustules?
