After completing her MA in Applied Anthropology, she spent two years serving the community of Lumbini in various capacities, including program development, research, humanitarian aid, grassroots consulting, volunteer coordination, and communications. She was inspired to form Girl Reports by the close relationships she formed with local students, teachers, and community leaders at the Karuna Girls School. Background: This is her own experience of going through a classic, traumatic narcissistic discard and not having any idea what she was dealing with. Carol states she is not an expert. Carol refers to herself as an educated layperson. Altogether she was with the narcissist for 15 years. Living with it, and then 5yrs studying it and educating people about it through her Facebook profile. Background: Tanya achieved a B.A. in Biology and an M.ED in Elementary Education. She is a certified Kids Yoga teacher and has taught yoga for the last 20 years. She says she has been doing for others since birth. Tanya was the eldest of five and her parents were stressed out and did not take care of themselves. After their early deaths within 6 months of each other, she was in the throes of grief, overwhelmed, and teacher burnout. It was then she realized she had to return to the basics and return to self. I want to serve others and therefore need to take care of myself. She is currently a yoga instructor for adults and kids providing opportunities for informal yoga and class and informal nature experiences to reconnect with breathing, body, and stillness.
