This is the final message of our series “What About (Overcoming Doubt)”. There will come a day when we stand before God’s throne & all our questions will be answered, but as long as we’re in this life, we will always have more questions than answers. In this how do we become a better doubter?

WHY IS CREDIBILITY SO CRUCIAL? As people observe us in life, our faith is seen as REAL & GENUINE.  Many people reject faith, not because the arguments of Atheists are so compelling, but because the HYPOCRISY of Christians is so repulsive!  In this message we take a good look at hypocrisy, how it impacts other along with taking a good look at our own walk and not letting the hypocrisy of others impact us.

The world tries to present us with so many options and variations for everything including the truth.  Especially the truth of God.  This leaves us with questions like; Is Jesus the only way to heaven? What about other religions? What about people who have never heard of God, Jesus, or the Bible?  We look at these questions and find out what God has to say about all of this.

A lot of our questions about God aren’t necessarily centered around His existence as much as it is around his presence. Questions such as, “Where is God?” and “Why doesn’t he show up for me?” The thing we need to remember through these times is that God’s silence is not an indication of God’s absence. We take a good look at how and why there are these moments when it seems that God is being silent with us.

Can you be a person of faith, while at the same time be someone who values objective science? A lot of people assume that what the Bible teaches & what science has discovered is incompatible. Is this actually true? We take a good look at these questions and the nature of God in this part 5 of our series “What About (Overcoming Doubt)".

If God is supposed to be unchanging, why does it seem that the Old Testament seems so different from God in the New Testament?  After all, the God of the New Testament is all about grace, peace, and love.  Whereas the God of the Old Testament seems to be more extreme and harsher.  We take a good look at these questions and the nature of God in this part 4 of our series “What About (Overcoming Doubt).

What about Hell?  More to the point, “How could a loving God send people to Hell?”  This is a question that we have all struggled with at one point or another.  We do have to face the fact that God is loving… AND Holy.  Ed dives into this as we continue our “What About” series in this message, “What About Hell?”

When life gets hard, it leaves us with lots of questions… especially about God.  In our sermon series, “What About…” I’ll be talking about some of the doubts we wrestle with the most.  Today’s question is one of THE MOST OFTEN ASKED QUESTIONS: “Why does God allow EVIL?”

Life is going to challenge faith with some very hard experiences and questions.  The church should be the place where you can ask life’s toughest questions. Genuine doubt does not invalidate faith… it authenticates our faith. In this new series, we look at this thing called “doubt” and how we overcome it in our walk of faith.

God is for us! Yeah, that may be easy to say, but do we really believe it? When it appears that the odds are stacked against us do, we truly trust God in those circumstances? Why do we doubt? Jason dives into Judges 6 and looks at Gideon to answer these questions.
