God promises to make us unshakeable in our waiting. So often we become consumed with worry and end up easily shaken, but God says that it doesn’t have to be that way. But how do we truly wait on Him?
God Promises to make us unshakeable. But how can we be sure that God is at work in our life when it doesn’t feel like it and we can’t see the evidence? Our message from Romans 8:28 reassures us that no matter what happens in life, God can and will use it for our Good and His Glory.
Who is God? As we continue our series “God Promises to Make Us Unshakable” we dive into this question to find how Good God is and How Much He Cares even when times are bad.
We are excited to bring a new series discussing how “God Promises to Make Us Unshakeable” no matter what happens in life. Did you know that God made over 3,000 promises in the Bible? While we won’t be able to get to every single promise that He made, but we will focus on the promises that tell us that our feet have a place to stand on the rock! How God promised that He will strengthen us, He will help us, and He will hold on to us to keep us from falling or failing. Even Jesus told us, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
One thing is for sure. We live in a time when culture is “all about me.” What are the dangers of this mindset? Where will this type of pride ultimately lead us? When we are in this type of culture it can be challenging to walk humbly with God, but it is vital for our spiritual growth. But what does “Walk Humbly” really mean? How do we do it? What is God trying to accomplish with us when we do?
God wants us to focus on what He’s looking for… Justice, Mercy, Humility. But what is Mercy as defined by God? Why do we end up focusing in on things other than mercy? This week we go back into Micah and go through the scriptures to find this out so that we can fix our focus on HIS mercy.
We continue to explore Micah in our "Fix our Focus" series and discuss justice. After the week that we've had the cries for just are far and by many. But what is justice? Are we seeking the right thing? How does God define justice? This week we look at 5 principles of justice as defined by God that will hopefully fix our focus in the midst of chaos.
With everything that has happened over the course of this past year it can be hard for us to focus on anything but what is bad in our lives. However, God wants us to focus on what is good. But what does that mean? What exactly is the “good” that we are to be focusing on? And how do we do it? We hope to answer these questions as we dive into Micah for today’s message, “Fix Your Focus on What is Good”
The message of Christmas is simply this, "God Has Come to Us!" Why did He do that? Why did Jesus come to the Earth? Simply to be with us so that we can get to know God as He truly is. This would be an impossible task for us to try to accomplish on our own. The greatest gift exchange in History!
This year, more than ever, we all need to be reminded of the story of Christmas. In this “Christmas Carol” message, “Christmas-time Stories of the Future” we take a good look at the future to ask the same question that Ebenezer Scrooge asked, “Is my future fixed, or can it be fixed?” In other words, is there any hope for me??
