Creativity is a shared urge. We all have it, but many stumble on the execution. It’s why we’re not all pro photographers, musicians and movie makers. If you simplify the tools and put them within easy reach of enough people, that starts to change. We’ve seen it with the proliferation of stories across a wide-range of broadly available social media platforms. But apps like Instagram and Snapchat have their limits, especially when it comes to permanence.

After I tried out AirPods at Apple’s big launch event last September, I said I couldn’t see a future where they become as ubiquitous as their white-cabled earphone predecessors. That future is easier to see today. Technically I was correct — AirPods aren’t everywhere — but I have to admit I see them around much more than I thought I would, just seven months after Apple first announced the product.

The world of Huawei phones is a confusing one. In the nearly 35 years since the dawn of the Macintosh computer, Apple has not been what you would call open. Well, that was fast. One day after Samsung's big Galaxy S8 reveal, the phone is now available for pre-order at Samsung's website and all major U.S. carriers. We already knew the pricing for both the S8 and the S8+, and there are no surprises here. But why dish out your cash now only to get the device on April 20? Samsung's got at least one good reason: All customers who pre-order the Galaxy S8 or the S8+ before April 20 get a free Gear VR with the new Controller for free.

For Tesla fans, the company's next highly anticipated electric car — the Model 3, slated for release later this year — can't come soon enough. One day, as he was looking at radiation levels on the space station, the A-level student noticed an anomaly. Being Instagram famous isn't all it's cracked up to be, even when you're a super-famous celebrity. In a new Vogue interview, singer and actress Selena Gomez, who is also the most-followed person on Instagram with 113 million followers, confessed she is no longer in control of her own Instagram account. Citing fatigue with the photo and video-sharing platform, Gomez says she deleted the app from her phone and doesn't have the password to it.
