The guys take calls from listeners about the Nets and if they’re worried about facing them in the Finals. Plus, Mason asks if a beloved writer of children’s books should be ‘canceled.’

O’Shea Jackson Jr. stops by the show to talk about the Lakers’ recent win streak - and they debate if Dennis Schroder is really *that* good. The guys discuss a controversy going on at the University of Texas about the school’s theme song “The Eyes of Texas,” where student athletes want the school to stop playing the song at sporting events due to its racial undertones and boosters/donors are threatening to pull funding over it. Mason & Ireland are excited about the Lakers coming off a two-game win streak against Portland and Golden State. Have the Lakers finally turned it around for good? The guys react to Keenan Thompson’s impression of Lavar Ball and debate whether LeBron’s back-and-forth with soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimović should be seen as a positive or negative. Then the trial of the century takes place when Mychal Thompson is put on the stand to defend himself in the alleged cheating scandal that took place earlier in the week on Game of Games. After hearing all of the evidence and statements from both sides, Producer Lindsey gives her verdict on defendant Mychal. Plus, it’s a round of “What’s His Name” on Game of Games.

Mason is peeved by Mike Tyson’s IG post asking people to ban Hulu after they announced an upcoming miniseries based on the life of the famous former boxing champ - unauthorized by Tyson. He argues that any famous person is subject for film and tv and that they shouldn’t need their permission. The guys go through the news of the day during The Scoop and Producer Lindsey shares a cool story about a video that The Rock sent to her friend that went viral. Plus, a Domino’s Pizza driver loses it over getting stiffed on a tip in Radio Tinder.
