I've gotten some vulnerable calls lately from people feeling frustrated about losing control around food. I share the science behind why this happens: our brains seek food for safety when our nervous system doesn't feel secure. This isn't about willpower; it's that our body learned to use food to self-soothe. I explain the mind/body connection and why we lose touch with physical hunger cues when stressed. The good news is you can retrain your system! I share my personal journey and a healthier perspective focused on nurturing true mind/body harmony.
