As one of the most influential thought leaders in graduate enrollment, admissions, financial aid, NAGAP has developed a track record of excellence and collaboration through education, research, and professional development In this episode I am joined by two seasoned professionals who are also key members of the NAGAP Board of Directors: Fran Reed, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Neumann University and Keith Ramsdell, who serves as the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Ashland University. They discuss the future of NAGAP and its role in shaping the profession of graduate enrollment management and admissions.

Guest Bios:
Francesca Reed has worked in higher education for over 25 years. She holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University. Her career has included positions across pre-college programs, Adult & Graduate Enrollment and, in more recent years, in Undergraduate Recruitment as the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management at Marymount University. In her current role as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Neumann University, she oversees the Undergraduate, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Admissions Operations, Neumann Media, Marketing and Publications offices.
Fran focuses on improving the graduate student experience from the inquiry stage through the onboarding process by creating an orientation program designed specifically for graduate student needs. Her early development in this program won her and her team NAGAP’s Award for Promotional Excellence for the Best Admitted Student Event in 2008. Her work in GEM has led her to present at the national level including numerous presentations at NAGAP’s Annual Conferences.
In addition to being involved in a number of professional organizations, Fran has been an active member of NAGAP since 2002. She has served on the Executive Board of NAGAP from 2010-2015 and currently serves as the Education Chair and sits on the NAGAP Experts Bureau. During her tenure on the Board, she was the 2011 Annual Conference Chair, Special Projects Chair for NAGAP’s 25th Anniversary, and the Marketing and Social Media Chair. Fran is a recent recipient of the 2019 NAGAP Distinguished Service Award.
Keith Ramsdell has over 25 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education and enrollment management, with nearly 15 years focused exclusively on graduate enrollment.
He currently serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Ashland University in Ohio where he provides strategic leadership and vision for undergraduate, graduate, international and online admissions, enrollment operations, financial aid, military and veterans services, marketing and communications.
Keith has been a member of NAGAP since 2006. Over the years he has chaired the Professional Development, Bylaws, and Awards Committees. He has served as Vice President and President of the Association, and is currently chair of the External Relations and Partnerships Committee and a member of the NAGAP Experts Bureau. He was the recipient of the association’s 2022 Distinguished Service Award.
He has presented at national conferences and consulted on topics including data-informed decision making, CRM selection and implementation, faculty engagement, executive leadership preparation, and GEM best practices.
