So for today’s mastermind session, we’re going to be talking about the power of ‘routines’ and how it’s been working in both our lives - We give you an insight into how routines look for us and and what we can improve them for the future.
“Let’s be honest, how many of y’all and you just get your day started. You don’t have it written down. You don’t have a strategy. You don’t have a real plan. You kinda just get up and say I’m about to tackle today. Raise your hand for me, raise your hand. We gonna stop. No more of that. You don’t go to war without a plan” - Eric Thomas
We discuss our learning lessons and our progression since that start of the year to sharpen our routine - from morning to afternoon and really getting that down pat.
We’ve been studying the power of routines and ‘why’ it’s important. We’ve learnt that it’s crucial to always have a solid morning routine and really understand what the purpose is behind that.
“We all want to be able to change the way we feel, that’s what i spend my life showing people how to do but what most people don’t know is that emotion is created by motion - the way you move determines the way you feel.” - Tony Robbins
For us, it’s really to build our confidence and our intention so that we know what we’re doing throughout the day and you’re not just reacting to the world. Having a routine shows that you’re on the ‘offence’ as opposed to being on the ‘defence’.
When you don’t have a set routine, you wake up sluggish and lethargic vs having a structured morning to reflect, pray and get yourself in the zone to where YOU are in control of your day - the outcomes vs trying to get through the day.
It all comes down to understanding ‘who’ you are and what you’re about and not being influenced by external factors. We understand how challenging it is to deal with the needs of family and friends.
We’re learning to truly understand ourselves and why it’s important to take care of yourself first before you can serve others at the highest level.
Come through and vibe!

What’s your biggest lesson from 2018?
In our next episode, we are again joined by a highly successful entrepreneur, Hershey Hilado. Hilado shares her journey from homelessness to hardcore entrepreneur.
The entrepreneurship journey requires having tough skin. There’s not always going to be someone there to help pick you up or pat you on the back for every small win. But that doesn’t mean you take a ride on the pity train. Entrepreneurs understand the importance of adhering to their responsibilities and know that adversities are essential.
There’s an ancient proverb that tells us that our thoughts become words, which soon become our actions. Our actions become our habits, which soon become part of our character. Our character then determines how we live our destiny.
Now, whether we’re destined to make our first million at 25 years old or destined to partner with a global brand like Google, what consumes our minds will inevitably determine how we think, speak and act.
Hershey advises that entrepreneurs fill their eyes and ears with information that can only benefit their career – information that will either educate or inspire:
“But if you consume positive, educational information, you’ll have people applauding how knowledgeable you are. Most people tell me are shocked when I tell them I’m only 25 years old.”
This week’s episode is really for all the millennials out there seeking the entrepreneur route. We learn from Hilado that succeeding as an entrepreneur will never come easy, but it is something worth pursuing if you want to make an impact in the world.

The biggest problem with most of us creatives is our ability to come up with too many ideas. Where most of us go wrong is the execution and following through the process to actually make it happen.
As creatives and artists, we truly value our own ideas. The first step of execution is just to put your ideas out there. Execution of the ideas is the most important.
Whether we like it or not, as creatives with an entrepreneurial drive, we are in constant competition. There is a massive difference between those who execute and those that don’t. Those who are quick to execute have the advantage of testing and getting instant feedback on what actually works. This is the key for constant growth and progression.
If you’re a creative and want to know how to speed up your execution, come vibe with us through this week’s podcast episode!
In this episode, you will learn . . .

“Everything is forever progressing - once one thing is out there, it’s gonna evolve into something else” - Markado
