Although Maude’s Season 8 journey is yet to come to an end, the Season 4 journey of the boys at the MFIMDB must do. Jeff Apple/Appul just has a few more  astronauts Slash cult members to enlist, whether they like it or not. And somewhere deep in the realms of nonsense lies some content, specifically a Maude/Bob reunion in "Brother from another Series"- written by Ken Keeler and directed by Pete Michaels. And then to wrap up the season, it's finally time to cover Maude's fateful trip to The Twin Cities of the Holy Land in Lebanon- and it wasn't an ice cold cider on the beach kind of affair I'll have you know. And then, finally, it's time. Let's go to space. Again. 

A cultural food explosion? An actual van explosion? A Yakuza/Mafia fight orchestrated by Maude Flanders? Surely you must be talking about one of your wacky, lengthy cold openings MFIMDB Team? NO. All of that is in Part 2 of “The Twisted World of Marge Simpson”- written by Jennifer Crittenden and directed by Chuck Sheetz. See a Nedless Maude get up to all kinds of mischief with her close friends Edna who can’t remember her, Helen and Agnes who didn’t go to her funeral and Luann, who probably actually quite liked her. And outside of the wild content, things are even wilder for us in the real world! Errgun is missing, and John is heck bent on finding him- it’s about time we started making plans to get up to that Space.

Hurricane Neddy”- written by Steve Young and directed by Bob Anderson- has its third and final moment to shine this week, as the MF Boys wrap the Flanders’ ordeal up. And then, Buckle the f*** up humans of all genders. We’ve arrived. The golden hour, some would call it, of Maude as her own darned diddly woman. This week, thanks to “The Twisted World of Marge Simpson”- written by Jennifer Crittenden and directed by Chuck Sheetz- Maude steps away from the Flanders home in an episode ENTIRELY without the presence of Ned, Rod and Todd! That’s right, the Investorettes have rolled into the MFIMDBQIA, and things get real salty when Marge has a difference of opinions with all the Roswells. It’s a must see! Also, Statman John is back in town and he needs to get to Space! If only the boss of the company was working on a polystyrene spacecraft with Michael Jagger...

She’s a long one! The MFIMDB Crew are back with more swearing and silliness than ever before! With more self-brillinatulgant segments than you can throw an inanimate carbon Todd at, it’s surprising we even find time to talk about that woman Ned was married to. But fear not, we do. And we’re back with “Hurricane Neddy”- written by Steve Young and directed by Bob Anderson. This time, we get to witness the aftermath of the torrent of destruction that has befallen Maude and her clan- and when Springfield rallies round to rebuild the home, things can only be on the up for sweet Maudelyn right? RIGHT? WRONG. Plus, Jacques Derrida, the French philosopher best known for developing a form of semiotic analysis known as deconstruction, returns to life albeit shrunk, and takes command of a hamster.

Another two parter! What is this, the 2nd run of Matt Smith’s Doctor? No. It’s the Maude Cast, and we’re just about seeing why our gracious Mrs. Roswell asked for more cold hard cash, because Maude’s all over the scene once again! First up, a brief stop by the Flanders’ bedroom in “Lisa’s Date With Density”- written by Mike Scully and directed by Susie Dietter- and a mysterious caller is keeping Maude from her forty winks- and she will NOT stand for it. Then, this week’s main course. “Hurricane Neddy”- written by Steve Young and directed by Bob Anderson- thrusts the Flanders family into centre stage when a Hurricane rips through Springfield, and hits the do gooders hard in the gonads. And if that wasn’t enough, Maude couldn’t even grab any Hurricane Chow! Meanwhile, the MFIMDB Boys try to get some sense out of Appul/Apple and his new celebrity friend!

Goodness Gracious! Season 8 is a true Maude gold mine, and we’re already on our second two parter! That’s right, we’re back in The Simpson family home for the second part of “A Milhouse Divided”- written by Steve Tompkins and directed by Steven Dean Moore. This time, the focus has shifted from Kirk and Luann over to Homer and Marge- and a wedding ceremony is afoot! And where is Maude Flanders when Kirk Van Houten burst into his iconic song Can I Borrow A Feeling? Also...where the heck is Stamp?

Bingo Bango Bongo! If you thought Maude couldn’t get any stiller than her recent Season 8 appearances, you thought wrong! We’re back at it and gracing the timeless pages of Bongo Comics for three more fantastic Maude NON TELEVISUAL appearances! First up, Bart Simpson Comics’ Issue 42 “Battle of the Plexes”- written by Tom Peyer- gives us a glimpse into something we had only prior dreamed possible...intrigued? Well there’s more! Next up, regular Simpsons Comics Issue 41’s story “Bart Simpson and the Krusty Brand Fun Factory”- written by Jesse Leon McCann and Robert L. Graff- sees Maude pop up just for one panel alone! What is she doing? Where is she going? We can only speculate, and speculate we shall, will, and did. And finally, the real meat of the Bongo Cast- Simpsons Comics Issue 11. “Fallen Flanders”- written by Bill Morrison. Within the spectrum of colours and lines on the pages infront of us, Maude takes the most centre of stages that we might have ever seen her take! After an A-R-G-U-M-E-N-T with Neddy in the Jebediah Springfield Forest, Maude finds it hard to control her emotions...especially when Neddy might be deaddy. Please, I implore you, tune in immediately!
