The Dallas Mavericks' postseason hopes are hanging on by a thread as we enter the last week of the NBA regular season. There is still an outside chance that the team makes the play-in but it seems the majority of the fanbase is already over the season and ready to be off of this ride.

Posts asking where the blame resides are making the rounds but it seems that people cannot settle on one culprit. From outside the fanbase, there is a strong desire to blame Luka's immaturity or label Kyrie as a team killer. However, within the fanbase (at least most of the people we care to associate with) there is an understanding that the issues are many but the least of them is Luka or Kyrie.

In this episode, the Outsiders discuss the situation in Dallas rather than spend a ton of time recapping the games because the formula remains mostly the same. This episode was recorded prior to the Hawks game but ironically the use of the Mavs' big men did come up.

Since it is our 200th episode, we also did a mailbag so thank you to those of you who submitted your questions. And of course, we closed it out with our regular segments.

Another loss on the board! The Mavs remain outside the play-in after another tough loss on the road. Reese and Bibs talked about that for a while before talking about things that they actually do enjoy on the back half of the pod.

The Mavs beat the Pacers and looked like a basketball team for most of the game. Jason Kidd changed his rotations up but not in a weird way and the Mavs remain in the playoff hunt. We'll look to build on this win and see if this can spark a turnaround before it's too late.

We discussed Jaden Hardy, the Luka-Kyrie dynamic, Javale McGee minutes, and more.

I don't feel like writing these show notes fr fr. The Mavericks suck and I paid a lot of money to watch this team get beat by a literal G-League team for the second time in 3 days so I'm very much over this season.

In this episode, Reese and Bibs talked about the Mavs' losses to the Hornets and addressed some hot Twitter topics that are pulled straight from the timeline. Since Bibs was at the game, he gave his in-person observations.

We then got into our weekly segments, including an interesting update in both the Fantasy league and the March Madness challenge. There may or may not be a special guest in this episode...

Aye man, we lost to the Charlotte Hornets at home. They were nowhere near full strength and we had both Kyrie and Luka on the court but we lost. We came back from down 21 and then allowed a 10-0 run or something like that.

Anyway, we talked about it or whatever.

Enjoy!
