Dr. Sharon Martin holds a doctorate in Physiology and worked as a research scientist and as faculty at Emory University School of Medicine.  At Emory, she was awarded the University-wide teaching award. Subsequently, she trained at and graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and finished a medical residency in Internal Medicine. She is certified by the national American Board of Internal Medicine.
