A great conversation with John Roberts....another maker, builder, artisan, whatever label you want to use. When the conversation about building a side car for a BMW motorcycle starts with a picture of steel being shaped around a tree, you have my attention. When you pull up to the studio in a '54 Ford 3/4 ton, on a frame built by hand, that has a low stance and a 351 ..... you definitely get a mic to discuss the single person plane you are building in the same shop.  

I'm still not sure how we ended up on these two primary topics ..... I don't think either one of them were in the pre-production conversations LOL. 

Well, thanks to C19, we had to play it safe and reschedule our guest....which was a bummer. And, since it was a last minute issue, Keith and I had to wing it....which, is typically how we do every show anyway. Enjoyed the conversation about 2 of my favorite things...cars and podcasts! 

My daughter Ashley joined us in studio to talk about her story, struggles and her advocacy work on behalf of abused children. This is probably the best and most personal episode to date.

For the second show in a row, we have an in studio guest....that may have worked his way into a recurring spot on the show. Always good times when the three of us get together....so good it took 4 takes to even get this show going! Keep sharing, liking, subscribing, clicking the bell, whatever it is you do if you like an episode! We've made it to 20 and still have  few more lined up!

Thanks to Adam Savage getting a new workbench, we have a conversation about not being a gatekeeper, blocking other people's success, creativity or goals. 

As much as we want to avoid contributing to or participating in the BS going on around us, we can't ignore it. But we quickly get back to where we both prefer to be.....on dirt roads!

Look, there's a lot of heavy crap going on and we could all use a laugh. And that, we accomplished with this one! And I think we managed to even have a semi-serious conversation for a moment or two. If you get at least one laugh out of it, please subscribe and/or share!
