Welcome to Episode "6~7" of the MBA Podcast.
This is a special episode as it marks the first time we have recorded an episode face-to-face with each other in the same space. More so, we recorded in Dave's garden, around his outdoor bar. We hope you enjoy the cicadas and crickets.
(We apologise that the title is legit low-key skibidi, but it is the best way we could reconcile our episode count with our episode titles... On the plus side it also signals to the younger demographic that these boomers can still bring some sigma rizz.)

We may have missed Halloween but we bring you some light horror and a little magic in this episode where we explore the 1975 cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the 1944 Novella The Little Prince.
This episode has everything, Devon in drag, the Spice Girls, Amputated Toes, a fiery Latina woman, and Tales of WW2 Flying Aces.

In this two-part third episode we discuss the long awaited true sequel to the 1997 hit movie George of the Jungle, where Brendon Fraser reprises his titular role in Darren Aronofsky’s bold portrayal of the trials and tribulations of Act 2 in George’s Life, in his 2022 film, “The Whale”.
We also discuss the 2017 album, “Anti Venom” by Black Mamba Man, and track the parallels between these two bodies of work, as well as other surprising influences.

Unseen by the listener, Devon is dressed in a gown and sunglasses during this episode, channeling his inner-Dude. This doesn't stop him dropping a serious flex which almost derails the episode in the first few minutes. Fortunately, being the consummate professionals we are, some discussion around the 1998 cult classic, "The Big Lebowski"; and the 2000 Album, "Songs from an American Movie Volume 1: Learning How to Smile" by Everclear is still salvaged.

The first episode!
What is it about the plot points in "Paddington in Peru" that remind Thorin of Nazi attempts to build the Fourth Reich in South America, and trigger memories of the "Cannibal Holocaust" for Devon? And, how does David's discussion of a seminal country-rock album lead us to Charles Manson within three minutes?

It's not that kind of "MBA".
Taking turns to nominate a movie, book, or album, three guys take you down rabbit holes and side-streets as…
