  • It's Hammer Time Sept 13, 2019 8th Most Powerful Man In Montgomery County – Simon Sequeira
Montgomery County, September 13 – “It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV airing at 12 noon today, Friday, September 13, 2019, will feature the 8th Most Powerful Man in Montgomery County, Simon Sequeira, also known as “Loco Ocho.” The theme of the show will be “Why the Crime?”
Sequeira is the President of Quadvest, a utility company and large groundwater producer. Sequeira garnered his immense political power as Chairman of Restore Affordable Water, RAW, the citizens organization which seeks to educate the public on property rights and water issues and which was instrumental in the election of true citizen representatives, in favor of water rights, to the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District.
Sequeira began a public speaking campaign in early 2018 to explain the dynamics and technicalities of water over-regulation foisted on Montgomery County citizens by the LSGCD and its cohort, the SJRA. Sequeira isn’t a fiery speaker but he’s not a boring speaker either. In fact, his enthusiasm for the water issue resulted in thousands of citizens becoming knowledgeable about the issue and showing up to elect a pro-citizen LSGCD Board on November 6. Sequeira began a speaking tour on water regulation right around the March 6 Republican Primary Election and built a strong coalition of conservative activists who wanted to help restore property rights to groundwater producers and users in Montgomery County.
Sequeira has a modesty and lack of brashness that are rare among people with his influence. He’s got a brilliant mind, a pleasant personality, and a willingness to back up his beliefs with hard work and dedication.
Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with Sequeira during the show by submitting questions on Facebook or calling 832.990.9170 during the live presentation.
The show will air from 12 noon to 1 p.m. today, Friday, September 13, and will continue with encore presentations throughout the weekend.

  • It's Hammer Time Aug 30, 2019 Montgomery County Commissioner Noack and Penny Benbow
“It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV airing at 12 noon today, Friday, August 23, 2019, will first discuss the topic on everyone’s mind, the Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics, primarily from the perspective of James Clerk Maxwell. Then the show will improve with two guests, Precinct 3 Montgomery County Commissioner James Noack and renowned conservative political activist Penny Martin Benbow, who has returned from her family’s brief sojourn to the United Kingdom.
There’s a lot to discuss with Commissioner Noack, who will focus on his accomplishments as a County Commissioner since his election in 2012, and who will also discuss the challenges the Montgomery County government faces in the next few years. Noack is one of the hardest working elected servants in Montgomery County. He regularly works 12 hour days, often six days per week.
Before becoming a conservative leader on the Montgomery County Commissioners Court, Noack was in the financial services industry. He has brought his financial expertise to the County government and literally saved taxpayers many tens of millions of dollars through wise financial planning. He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Benbow is a major Noack supporter but, perhaps, has her greatest renown from her work as a leader of the Rayford Road Civic Association. Benbow has always been one of the leaders of the Texas Patriots PAC and has been a fierce advocate of conservative leaders, such as Noack and State Representative Steve Toth. Even when she lived “across the pond,” Benbow regularly participated in political discourse in this community through social media.
Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with Noack and Benbow during the show by submitting questions on Facebook or calling 832.990.9170 during the live presentation.
The show will air from 12 noon to 1 p.m. today, Friday, August 30, and will continue with encore presentations throughout the weekend.

“It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV airing at 12 noon today, Friday, August 16, 2019, will first include a discussion of “unhinged” playground physics applied, of course, to the Conroe Independent School District’s crazed $676 million bond set for a voter referendum on November 5, 2019. Then the show will markedly improve with guest Andy Dubois, Montgomery County Precinct Projects Manager, who is running for the Woodlands Township Board of Directors also on the November 5 ballot.
Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with Dubois during the show by calling 832.990.9170 during the live presentation.
Montgomery County Precinct 3 Special Projects Manager Andy Dubois.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1993. Dubois’ first job after college was for the Brownsville Herald where he worked as a sports reporter, news editor, and sports editor from 1993 to 199.
Dubois remembers well when he moved to The Woodlands, April 7, 1999, the date of his daughter’s first birthday. Dubois began working for the Conroe Courier as a night editor and layout editor and worked there until February, 2000, when he left to go to work for Telxon, a hand-held computer company in The Woodlands. He returned to journalism after ten months as the City Editor for the Courier.
He became the Managing Editor and eventually the Editor of the Courier when Houston Community Newspapers bought the company and named Dubois Executive Editor over 24 newspapers in the area. • It's Hammer Time Aug 9, 2019 with State Republican Executive Committeeman Mark Ramsey
“It’s Hammer Time,” the popular Facebook Live and YouTube show at MCP.TV, will host powerful conservative State Republican Executive Committeeman Mark Ramsey at 12 noon today, Friday, August 9, 2019.
Ramsey is one of the most conservative members of the State Republican Executive Committee. Many consider him to be the “right hand man” to Republican Party of Texas Chairman James Dickey. Ramsey served as the Chairman of the Republican Party Platform Committee at the 2018 State Republican Convention in San Antonio.
Mark Ramsey, P.E., grew up in the Houston area, was a championship debater in high school, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Upon graduation, Ramsey took a job at Johns Manville Research and Development near Denver, a world class thermal insulation and fire testing facility. While there, several innovations led to improved testing methods, improved insulation manufacturing, and better insulations themselves.
Ramsey then moved to Exxon Production Research Company (EPRCo) in Houston, one of four top R&D organizations in the oil patch. During his time there, he became one of EPRCo’s leading patent-holders, with most of his inventions in the area of downhole oil and gas well drilling tools and procedures, some of which remain in use today. While there, he became Exxon’s subject matter expert on Wellbore Hydraulics, which has remained a lifelong technical passion. In teaching hydraulics and in a broader sense drilling engineering, Exxon awarded him the “Exxon Distinguished Instructor” award for long term teaching excellence. Before moving to drilling operations, Ramsey also invented what was to become the single most effective technique for cleaning Prince William Sound after the Valdez oil spill.
In 1992, Ramsey founded the consulting engineering company Texas Drilling Associates. Clients include BP, M-I, Petrobras, BHP Billiton, Mariner Energy, Baker, Hughes-Christensen, Amoco, Apache Corp., ExxonMobil, Pioneer, Schlumberger, Freeport McMoRan, Transocean and others. Much of this work has been in the area of trouble prevention, where programs he pioneered have saved operators hundreds of millions of dollars in reduced trouble costs.
The Amoco work, significantly, included assisting in the development and roll-out of the Training to Reduce Unscheduled Events (“T.R.U.E.”) and handbook, which is said to be the most successful short course in the history of drilling.
The BP work included assisting with the Wytch Farm projects on the Southern Coast of England, where technology for horizontal drilling was radically improved, changing the course of directional drilling worldwide forever. He has been an invited guest speaker for several conferences on drilling related topics, and helped bring Cesium Formate drilling and completion fluid to market and acceptance, in spite of its extraordinary cost. He assisted BP with what became one of the best tools to minimize environmental damage caused by the Macondo blowout.
Additionally, a significant part of Ramsey’s career has been in teaching oil and gas well drilling on six continents and about thirty countries thus far, traveling well in excess of a million miles to do so. Recently, he was asked to help start a petroleum engineering curriculum for the prestigious Israel Institute of Technology, “The Technion”, in Haifa, Israel, after massive gas fields were discovered offshore Israel. His teaching there resulted in their highest ratings for teaching by their students. He is a prolific writer, both on technical subjects (including a book on wellbore hydraulics nearing completion) and public policy (see below).
Another passion of Ramsey’s has been citizen involvement in the political and government sphere. In this capacity, he has assisted with high school textbook review for the State Board of Education, has made recommendations to the Texas Sunset Commission, testified at Texas legislature hearings, and co-authored the newly adopted pre-engineering “Principles of Engineering” STEM course curriculum now used in Texas high schools. He is a member of the Texas State Republican Executive Committee, (SREC), representing Senatorial District 7 has served on the Texas state GOP Platform committee several times, and counts many elected officials among his friends.
Ramsey is happily married to his first wife of nearly 35 years, Pauline. They live north of Houston. They have three grown successful children, a grandson, and are fostering a small child. Additional hobbies include reading, computers, snow skiing, woodworking, restoring a red 1967 C-10 truck and associated car shows, international travel, and Bible study. He considers himself to be very blessed.
Callers will have the opportunity to speak directly with Ramsey during the show by calling 832.990.9170 during the live presentation.
