MCU Fan Show - Marvel Studios commentary

0:39 Woo S Kim

For argument sake let's say Marvel Television is done making live action Marvel content and that production company moves to strictly making animated series and or animated films, does this free up characters like Iron Fist and Daredevil for Marvel Studios reboots either in cinema films or in Disney+ series?

3:24 Anthony Lawrey

I don’t know the source material as well as you, but with all the Kraven talk, it’s got me wondering. Vulture and Mysterio are two of my favorite MCU villains and a majority of the reason is how personable they appear to be. Does Kraven have the character traits to hold his own against Toomes and Beck?

Do you think people will be burned out by Marvel properties in 2021? With literally 8 releases by Marvel Studios?

14:01 Paul Shearman

How much of a jump is it to think that the Spider-Man MCU team up movie will be with Fantastic Four in 2022? I know you lean towards a Champions movie (which I would have no problem with at all!) but could the New York connection and the fact that two slots for 2022 movies are as of now unannounced make it feasible?  Would you like this team up?

16:39 Paul Shearman

Do you know whether there is any expiration date on the Sony license for producing Spider-Man movies, or does it run in perpetuity (or have conditions that allow it to ‘auto-renew’ - like a movie must be made every X amount of years)?

20:36 Giuseppe Vicaretti

There are some things we want to see and dont want to see in the 3rd Spiderman film. My question for you Sean is, what are 3 things you want to see in this next movie, and what are 3 things you don't want to see in this next movie?

Jumping from Giuseppe’s question, if they go with an A, B, and C villain structure, do you think Scorpion works better as a C or B villain? If Kraven is the A villain, who would you choose for B and C villains?

What is your favorite plot twist and why?

The MCU has been an inspiring way of seeing villains be redeemed, such as Loki and Ghost, but in real life, some people tragically go from good to bad instead. Would you be interested in seeing an evolution of a hero into a villain or anti-hero in the MCU? If so, would you want them to take a storyline of a character doing so from the comics, or subverting expectations by making an evergreen hero into a villain? And would you then like to seen the hero-turned-villain go through a redemption arc?
