I was thinking about ways in which Riri Williams could appear into the MCU and it made me wonder ... wouldn’t it be wild if she turns out to be Fury’s daughter? I just rewatched Iron Man last night with the kids, and it's just a reminder: when you start off so grounded, and respecting the source material like that, it sets you up for success. Anyway, everybody is going nuts at the moment for the deleted/alt post credits scene with Nick Fury referencing Spiderman and X-Men, but they actually left _in_ a reference to X-Men in the finished piece: when ascending in the Mach II, Jarvis brings up a display of the Blackbird, aka the X-Jet, on Tony's head up display.

My question is: do you think they had to get permission from Fox back then? Is that an error that was accidentally left in? Most importantly: does that affect the plans for introducing and integrating the X-Men going forward, since it implies they were already around? Or does it help? And if so, how?

A rumor started circulating a couple days ago that Marvel Studios has something in the pipeline for Ghost rider. Cut to today and the planned Ghost Rider series in development at Hulu is abruptly cancelled. So, assuming the former is responsible for the latter, my question comes in three parts. 1: Where do you think is the more likely destination for Ghost Rider in the MCU, Theaters or Disney+?   2:  Which version of the character would you most like to see adapted?   3: Who might you like to see cast in that role? For my money I like Frank Castle. I think an MCU retooling of the Punisher mythos could make the character far more compelling as Ghost Rider than he ever was as the Punisher.

I think most of us assume that Spidey will be on the run at the beginning of the story. This seems like an oportune way to introduce Kraven. Maybe with Mysterio being inadvertantly revealed by Kraven to be alive. What do you think Sean? Do you think part of this new deal will also allow for more of Spidey's rogues gallery to appear in the MCU. Maybe this new deal will allow for something like that and also allow Kraven to then appear in a Sony produced SUMC film.

This is assuming the status quo remains (i.e. Feige still in charge, MCU films still hugely successful, Sony Pictures not purchased, next Spidey film at least as successful as FFH, etc.). Do you think this new deal was done solely to let Marvel Studios give Spider-Man a smooth transition from one universe to the next?

With the February 2022 date still not filled, do you think there is a chance that is a buffer date in case they would want to push back one of their four 2021 movies? If a movie got pushed back, would your money be on Thor or Doctor Strange? Or, instead of February 2022 being a buffer, maybe it goes away and becomes a new November 2022 date?

With the Amazing Spider-Man news last Friday, and Feige's comments that I think implied we are likely see Tom Holland I'm both the MCU and SUMC, do you think Venom 2 will have a title card saying "I'm association with Marvek Studios"

While I didn't like either of  TASM films, and thought Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker wasn't done very well, I would totally support bringing his Spider-Man into the Venom films. You could sort of fast-forward to having Garfield play his Peter as an adult, bring back Shailene Woodley to play Mary Jane and have them playing adults who are either engaged or already married. While I don't think this is likely, it's a creative choice for Venom interacting with Spider-Man that I would support and get excited about. How would you feel if they took this route, even though it's probably unlikely?

I signed up for Disney plus in order to get the founders Circle deal, and I am happy with that price wise because it seem like a good deal. But at the moment I won’t be able to watch Disney plus my preferred way which is with my Amazon fire TV stick. I do have an Xbox one, so I will be able to use that. But I don’t understand why Disney plus wouldn’t make themselves available on Amazon devices right away. A similar thing happened when DC universe launched, they announced that they would be on Amazon fire TV, but then when they did launch it wasn’t available until December or January. Why do you think this is the case for Disney plus?

Let me try and explain more. I am at the point in my life now where I have to watch something that will grab my attention and be worthy of my time. I remember specifically when I was younger, I’d watch anything and everything and I always “LOVED it!” (Especially in regards to movies like the Tim Story Fantastic 4) and now I wouldn’t give those movies the time of day. I understand a lot of it is about maturity and having less time to indulge in everything available. It just makes me wonder how I’ll feel about films 10 years from now.

Greetings Sean. Since Marvel Studios is now branching out into television, and with Marvel Television having produced very uneven results with even its best work, I wonder from an overall branding perspective if there’s enough value in Marvel Television to continue to produce live action content. Audiences are certainly savvy enough to know the difference at this point, and I can’t help but feel that knowing investment in these characters is never going to pay off in the movies casts a pall on these projects. If for no other reason than that it is Marvel, and audiences want that connectivity.

I was just thinking of something while rewatching the scene of Shuri scanning and examining the Mind Stone, from "Avengers: Infinity War" do you believe Sean, that one of the reasons why Shuri is so much smarter than a lot of the older people around her is because she doesn't have the emotional baggage that a Spider-Man, an Iron Man, or a Doctor Banner has and not having that emotional baggage has made her think in ways that her peers have not or could not because Shuri's failures haven't made her doubt her skills, what say you Sean?
