Me, Mikeself and I

He's a civil engineer, Elk Grove City Councilman and he ran for Mayor of Elk Grove, he is Darren Suen!

I had a great time talking to Darren about his life growing up in a strict household, going to college and hearing his advice on what we need to do in Elk Grove to set the standards for other communities.

This was a fun show to get to know a political figure on a human level.

Thank you Darren for your time, you have my vote!

Every comedian can relate to the "Hey Man" speech.

When starting out in stand up comedy you will deal with shady promoters that when it's time to pay you they will give you the "Hey Man" speech.

"Hey man, I am sorry that I can't pay you today like I promised because (insert lame excuse)"

Comedian/Producer Dru Burks is the exact opposite of the "Hey Man" booker. Dru takes care of his comedians, pays them on time and does his best to book an amazing shows with phenomenal comedians.

Dru talks about working with Scruncho(How High), Mark Curry (Hanging with Mr. Cooper) and Darren Carter (Comedy Central) and what he has learned from these legendary comedians.

This is a very fun and interesting interview and you are going to enjoy listening to Dru's passion in comedy.

Mark S. Allen.

Mark takes time out of his very busy schedule to talk about his movies and what it takes to make the Sacramento area the next big film making area.

There are big things in stored for Sacramento and Mark is paving the way for all of us!

It was a pleasure and very inspiring having Mark on the show!

I also had a chance to show Mark my figment of my imagination, Funny Bunny.

Who is Funny Bunny?

Looks like you should listen and enjoy the show.

From Dry Bar Comedy and Nationally Touring Headliner, Comedian B.T. is my guest.

First off, get ready. Because once B.T. comes on the show, HE DOES NOT SHUT OFF. This is a non stop roller coaster show where we talk about B.T. life in stand up comedy. We also talk about 80's music and B.T. noticed that the movie Rocky had a unusual #MeToo moment.

Honestly, the best part of the show was reading everyone's live comments, hilarious.

Enjoy

Me, Mikeself and I is now officially streaming live every Thursday night at 8pm on Facebook and Twitch.

This week I brought two amazing stand up comedians that I have personally worked with.

Recurring guest, Nick Larson and first time on the show his girlfriend, Danielle Arce.

Danielle talks about her first time on stage, performing in Japan, we talk to Nick about his first time back in comedy, sketches and we all get a chance to see Sacramento Karen get her A$$ whopped.

This is a fun show!

You buy the equipment, you learn how to podcast, you spent endless hours editing, you post you podcast, then you wait.

You check your stats and you see that no one is listening. I get it, it's frustrating and it feels like there isn't any hope. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

Yes there is.

From the Business Bro podcast, Hernan Sias joins me and talks about what it takes to make a successful podcast.

This is a must listen, he has a ton of knowledge and I am very thankful that he is on the show.

We are streaming live!

Joining me on the show today is radio and TV personality, Big Al Sams.

Big Al is a huge staple in the Sacramento Community and it was a pleasure having him. We talked about the peaceful protest that took place last week in Sacramento.

Big Al also talks about growing up in Chicago with racism, the Hip Hop culture and radio's responsibility with their listeners and finally we witness Phoenix Karen get slapped.

Hence the title of the show... Black Lives Matter, B!tch!
