Media From the Heart

Today I chat with a very special actor who has been featured in several Hallmark & other rom-com/mystery films. Jesse Arthur Carroll has over 500 voiceover acting credits to his name, and he is garnering more attention every year. We chat about how he began his career, including his stint as a stand-up comedian. And we chat all the way up to his notable acting credits and his narration for the Canadian series "Backroad Truckers," which airs on the History Channel in Canada and streams on Hulu. We had such a blast with this incredibly talented artist, and we all look forward to his explosion upon the film and television scene as he continues to pursue his dreams. (And make them reality!!)

My guest today is actor/writer/director/producer Ryan Bruce. Paniz Zade, another of my wonderful guests, recommended me to him, which is how he made an appearance on my show. We chatted about his background, his creative pursuits, and his best-known & upcoming works. While we cannot see "Mistletoe Match" this year in the States, if you live in Canada, be sure to catch him on December 14th. (I believe the U.S. will see it next Christmas.) Our discussion was engaging and honest, and Ryan certainly knows how to capture the attention of everyone in the virtual audience, including my MOM!

Today I chat with Apocalyptic Fiction Author Robyn VanDerSys who is a Pacific Northwest native (born in Washington State--yay!!). We chatted about everything from how she got started as an author, her bucket list, and what she loves about living in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She is one of the most vivacious people I have ever had the honor to meet on my podcast, and her bubbly personality could charm even the hardest of hearts. This is one fun chat you do not want to miss. Why? Well, my virtual audience members knocked it out of the park (per usual)! Have a listen and let me know what your thoughts are about Robyn.

In today's episode, we chat with producer David Anselmo whose work with Hallmark and Great American Family you may recognize. We chatted about how he got started, the various aspects of film production, and took a peek behind-the-scenes of your favorite family-friendly rom-coms, including the most recent offering from Great American Family, "Catering Christmas." This is a very interactive conversation, and it is a joy and delight to highlight someone of David's caliber.

Today I chat with actor Robert Nahum who shared so much life experience with us, many of which he has never told before. Everything from his first career in healthcare to his days of music and preaching, to finally making the bold decision to pursue his career as an actor...it's all here, and so much more!! But above everything else, the man's voice is definitely GOLDEN! He has recently finished filming the Lifetime movie he mentioned in this episode, and we breathlessly await what is next for this kind, talented, incredible artist!

Today's episode features the youngest guest I have ever had on my podcast--he's 9 years old! Named after Denzel Washington, actor, writer, filmmaker, director, musician, and advocate Denzel Onaba graced my virtual studio with his consummate professionalism and good-natured humor. We were all blown away by his charm and wit, and it is a true delight to present this episode to the world. You may have seen him in "A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love" or "Resident Alien," but if you have not seen him...TRUST ME!! YOU WILL!!
This young man is destined for great things, and one day we all can say, "I knew him when...." as he accepts an Oscar, Emmy, or whatever his future holds.
