Media From the Heart

Today I am thrilled to present the dynamic duo from Soul Injection Studios, Justin Tolliver & Chela Morin. It was such a joy to chat with them about the independent film industry and how they have created their content. They both have such unique perspectives, and the marriage of their talents has created such a delightful show, "Doubledate.com." They are not the typical "Hollywood" industry professionals, and they give possibly the best advice I have ever heard for those who wish to work in this industry. Grab a coffee (or some other hot drink), and spend some time getting to know this incredible couple from Rhode Island as they share their heart, soul & passion with all of us!

Today is a special episode where I get to chat with my good friend, Viv Leacock. You might know him from the Hallmark Channel hit show, "When Calls the Heart," but he also was a part of "Halie Dean Mysteries" with Kellie Martin. You can see him in various network and cable shows from Netflix to the BBC and even a film with Eddie Murphy. There is no one on this earth with a bigger heart than Viv. He is where he is because of who he is. A true gentleman to the core. I do apologize for the audio issues. I attempted to minimize them as much as possible, but these things do happen sometimes. Sit back, relax, enjoy and be inspired by the man who never stops giving.

Today's show is unique and I cannot adequately describe the experience you are about to have in these show notes. Let me give you a taste. Neal Bledsoe, of Hallmark and GAC fame graced us with one of the most unusual and entertaining episodes ever. The entire time, he was at the gym working out (or maybe trying to avoid working out?). We chatted about his origins, his outlook on life, and of course, his upcoming big for the U.S. presidency. My virtual audience had the most engaging questions, and Neal answered every one of them in his indomitable style. This episode is family-friendly (except for maybe the reference to boxers/briefs, but we keep that PG). Because Neal came on early and interacted with the fans, I have included 10 minutes of bonus, behind-the-scenes footage for you to enjoy, if you dare to watch it. You can find that at the end of the episode. There is no doubt that "Winter Palace" has put this artist on the map in the hearts of rom-com lovers everywhere. Please enjoy. And by the way, there will be a bonus episode with Neal coming very soon as well, so keep your eyes peeled! I also apologize for any loud noises associated with the gym.

Today's chat is with the Broadway star, philanthropist, women's rights advocate, and insanely talented Caileigh Scott. She shares openly about how she got started in theater, acting, and more. We talk about the things that are close to her heart, and we even chat about what she does in her spare time, including reading, skiing, tea, and her love for all things horses. While she has not been in a Hallmark movie yet, she is the ideal candidate, and we hope to see her and her friend, Jacklyn Collier (who made this episode happen) in an upcoming Hallmark production very soon!

Andrea and I have been friends for many years, and bringing her on Media From the Heart was a dream come true! Not only did we discuss "When Calls the Heart" (and we did a VERY deep dive), we discussed her upcoming/recently-released projects, her background, motherhood, "Supergirl," Paul Greene, and much more. We even had an extra special appearance by "Mountie Chad!"

(Please note that some of the dates/times have passed since this conversation happened a few weeks ago. Andrea's most recent film, "The Wedding Fix," has already premiered on UP TV in the U.S. Also, the movie she mentioned with Marcus Rosner now has an air date, a network, and a title. "Romance To the Rescue" will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on May 21st. This will be Andrea's first official Hallmark leading lady role.

Also, this podcast episode is one where I believe my virtual audience were hosts, and I was willing to take on the role of co-host. You'll understand why. My audience asks the BEST questions!

Meet Cinnamon and Allison, AKA "Sparks Of Comedy." We had a delightful chat that took so many twists and turns that I couldn't begin to detail them all in the description. We did discuss Survivor, Paul Greene, a remake of Tarzan, how these two got started, their present and future plans, and so much more. It is worth a listen just to see if a murder happened during the broadcast!! (No Spoilers here!!) No doubt, my virtual audience did not disappoint and asked the absolute BEST questions ever.

This episode is a defining moment for me. My good friend, Andrew Walker, came on my show, and for most of the episode, I yielded the reins to my virtual audience who made the best co-hosts I could have ever imagined!! We chatted about Andrew's upcoming mystery series, but we learned about so much as the fans asked him about Tyler Hynes, Christmas movies, Reba, and so much more. Andrew shared from his heart and inspired every one of my virtual co-hosts who asked him a question and/or made a comment. Above all, this episode demonstrates exactly who Andrew Walker is and why the Hallmark universe (and beyond) adore him to the moon and back!!

Today I chat with podcaster/filmmaker Jennifer Silliman. We take a deep dive into the variety of her creative pursuits: filmmaking, podcasting, and more...as well as her struggles with postpartum depression. This is one of the most powerful discussions I have ever had the honor of hosting, and I hope that everyone comes away from this conversation believing there is hope for you too, no matter the situation.

Today I chat with Christian author and speaker Carol McLeod. We went deep about her books and conferences, but we also tackled her love for Christmas and even what her last name means! This is the episode where the power and anointing of God were present. Still, even if you don't know the Lord, I believe you will receive a blessing and be able to relate to this incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and phenomenal woman!

Today I chat with my good friend, Christine Solomon. She is a humanitarian, entrepreneur, spokesperson and award-winning actor & now a celebrated children's author as well with her new book "Odd Ed." But that was only part of our scintillating conversation. Be sure to listen for Christine's love for Bollywood, which superhero (or super-villian) she wants to portray, and we even delve into her video game voiceover work. This is one entertaining, inspiring conversation all about a woman who never gives up on going after every dream in her heart!!
