Mike Warner is a music industry professional who works as the Director of Artist, Label and DSP Relations at Chartmetric. He helps independent artists on and off the charts. He has created a book called Work Hard Playlist Hard, https://workhardplaylisthard.com/p/book has his own podcast, and has been participating in a select group for LinkedIn’s accelerator program. We are going to learn about his music business background from starting off being a DJ at a few bars to now being a mentor for the next wave of artists and music business leaders.

During her college career at UC Irvine, Stacey has worked under VIP Nation under BTS, worked on many street teams for concerts, and now works as a Fairs and Festivals Assistant full-time at Wasserman Music. While also working full-time and being the founder of 1520 Vision, she manages a mid-level band called Foxglove and she creates quality content on TikTok for them. In her interview, we are going to learn more about how she explored the festival side of the music industry, her definition of fan engagement, and her company 1520 Vision. We are going to put her K-Pop Trivia to the test as well!

Keithan Hedrick is the co-founder of Candi, a social media platform that allows fans to video chat live with their favorite celebrities and influencers. He grew his brand with only $100 in his pocket with no entertainment connections to start. He is a lawyer and graduated in 3 years with a B.S. in Applied Engineering and with an additional 3 years received his J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana. He also has provided numerous resources for entrepreneurs and people who want to work in the entertainment industry. They are featured on his website at www.keithanhedrick.com. Keithan has published a book for entrepreneurs called The Dreams Playbook-The Ultimate Guide to Starting Your Dream Business. One of his biggest resources is The Celebrity Email Guide which contains over hundreds of contacts and helps someone craft a great quality email to get celebrities to promote one’s brand. Keithan will chat more about his platform Candi, his background, and his plethora of great resources for aspiring media professionals.

Malsi is a singer/songwriter who got inspiration from her parents who immigrated from Bangladesh. She comes from a very artsy background and studied theater in college at Rice University and is currently earning her masters in Education in Learning, Design, and Technology at University of Southern California. She has released over 30+ songs including Honey+M, Wolf Moon which has over 20,000 streams and Still which has over 55,000 streams. Here, she will teaching others about her songwriting process and we'll be taking a listen to a couple of her songs including Honey+M and Wolf Moon.
