I'm here with 7 solid reasons to stream this brilliantly festive spy thriller on Netflix. Make sure you watch during December and you won’t be disappointed! The series has already been renewed for a second season, and I sincerely hope they keep this same December release strategy to make it a new seasonal TV tradition. Prefer video? Her world shatters when her lover, Jason (Andrew Koji), is brutally killed. Desperate and under threat, Sam (Ben Whishaw), a refined and lethal assassin, is enlisted to safeguard Helen. November 21, 2024 'Based on a True Story' | Season 2 Reaction & Review: A Copycat Killer & Twists Galore
“Based on a True Story” is back for a second season on Peacock. Watch my Season 2 Reaction and Review, and be sure to chime in with your thoughts! Did you see the twists coming? Did you predict the killer reveal? I’d love to know! Prefer video? Subscribe + watch on YouTube?
“Based on a True Story” is a dark comedy on Peacock starring Kaley Cuoco as Ava Bartlett and Chris Messina as her husband Nathan. Tom Bateman stars as Matt, “The Westside Ripper” serial killer. The trio did a true crime podcast together in Season 1. In season two, Ava and Nathan are juggling life as new parents three months into parenthood. Ava is focused on balancing family life with her career, planning to return to real estate while resisting her true-crime obsession. Meanwhile, Nathan is busy training private tennis clients. But when a string of new murders surfaces, Ava is drawn back into the mystery. Could Matt be behind the killings? Is Tory, now romantically involved with Matt, at risk?

August 22, 2024 'Evil' Series Finale Reaction
Here I am mourning the loss of one of favorite TV series, "Evil" on Paramount+. While we didn't get a "bow ending" on this one, I think it works so we can keep the door open for more should another streamer (‪Netflix‬?) pick it up for another season (or few). Watch now for my take on "Evil" Season 4 as a whole, some of the hits and misses, and whether or not Timothy is ACTUALLY the Antichrist.
What are your thoughts on how they wrapped up the series? Be sure to share your favorite and least favorite storylines and characters, and overall sentiments of the series as a whole below in the comments. And get out there and use #SaveEvil to spread the word that this show deserves more time on our screens!
