They also talk about the profound effect that the band had on Nick growing up, giant rubber ducks, and being awesome.

It looks as if Nick and Mike are mixing things up this week! They're sitting down and checking out a slew of obscure/retro commercials that include: Budweiser's 'Wazzup' ad, Wendy's classic "Where's the beef" campaign, a bunch of 'call now' infomercials, and other ads that involve selling stuff to people.

In this weeks Media Obscura, the Bergen Boys check out the animated adaptation of the movie adaptation of Jim Carrey's adaptation of the graphic novel/comicbook, The Mask!

Nick also grumbles about Mike ruining his birthday while Mike gets his heart broken... By Nick.

Nick and Mike dig reaaaaaaaal deep into the obscure catalog for this weeks episode about the hit television series Cheers. See? Real obscure.

They also talk about the Renaissance. Like, a lot.

Nick and Mike slip into something sleuthy on this weeks Media Obscura as they check out the Japanese anime, Detective Conan!

Nick and Mike sit down and check out the 80s BBC comedy series, The Young Ones. Nick and Mike also ponder the horrors of war, Nick's love of hitting books, and toxic masculinity.

In order to commemorate their 30th episode, Nick and Mike go back to where it all began... Kinda. They also talk about their (possible) TV spinoff, how to adapt another piece of media, getting stabbed in the jugular, and When Harry Met Sally.

Nick and Mike decide to treat themselves to a good movie on this weeks Media Obscura, when they sit down to watch Tim Burton's 1994 classic, Ed Wood! It's Nick's favorite movie of all time, and he makes that abundantly clear. Nick and Mike also chat about Mike's one man show at the Apollo, and find themselves playing another game of charades!
