Today our guest will be Tory Zellick.
Tory Zellick is a young woman who transitioned into adulthood while caring for, and emotionally supporting, her mother through a six-and-a-half year battle with breast cancer. At the age of eighteen, Tory found herself traveling the unanticipated path of caregiver; overwhelmed and unsure of what was to come next.
After her mother’s passing in 2009, Tory, along with her father and brother, spent time traveling through South East Asia, reflecting on all that had occurred over the past several years. Out of that reflection time was born The Medical Day Planner. It is Tory’s hope that The Medical Day Planner will provide organizational help and guidance to others who find themselves in a similar caregiving situation.
We will discuss the importance of staying organized and give some tips as to how to do that.  We would love to hear from our listeners as to what you are stuggling to stay on top of as a caregiver.
