Hi everyone!! In this episode, I talk about how colonialism has impacted the beliefs and practices of Wicca. I do not think that Wicca is bad or anything but there are some issues with Wicca that I feel really need to be discussed. I also don't think I am right but I'm just trying to bring up some ideas that make some sense to me. I would HIGHLY recommend you wait until the absolute end of the episode to understand some aspects of what I am adding to the conversation around Wicca. Thank you guys so much!! Have a question? Feel free to check out my Insta! Down below is also the Insta account of the person I was reading from in the beginning of the episode.

Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about some reasons why you probably shouldn't go to the burning of the zozobra or Spanish fiesta in Santa Fe. Both of these events are tourist traps rooted in appropriation, colonialism, and exploitation. If you really want to feel immersed in Santa Fe culture, I would recommend reading: White Shell, Water Place and Pueblo Nations: 8 Centuries of Pueblo Indian History. Here is a documentary about the Fiesta and zozobra in Santa Fe: https://vimeo.com/32977364/7b1fce9195 . These are just my opinions, so take it or leave it. Have any thoughts on the topic? Hi everyone! So today's episode got a little heated lololol. I did a little rant about what I find frustrating about white people (especially white people in Santa Fe/New Mexico) teaching indigenous marketed herbalism, curanderismo, and native practices. A lot of these people claim "woke-ness" and yet are still capitalizing and monopolizing off of indigenous and ancestral marketed programs while limiting actual BIPOC. What are your thoughts on this issue? Message me on Insta to let me know! NOTE: I don't hate white people, again, I am half white but there are some issues that are being ignored that white people, even "woke" white people perpetuate and not really understanding the issues with it.

Hi everyone! In today's episode, I go through my old Tumblr account and roast it while talking about the transformation of my own personal journey and the type of person I was before I went on my spiritual journey. I talked about being very witchy yet growing up in a pentecostal church. I talk about struggling with identity and what I originally was going to college for before I dropped out. I mentioned the Magick Without Fears podcast with Frater R.C. featuring Celeste Mott, so go check that out! Have any questions? Check out my Insta!

Hi everyone! In today's episode, I talk about how I pretty much only use a handful of herbs in my magickal practice. I have felt the pressure to need ALL the herbs in order to do the spells in my spellbooks, but I feel like once you are comfortable, you probably only need a couple of herbs to perform effective magick. I briefly talk about Full Moon rituals for this Pisces Full Moon and yet again, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. I also mention Jason Miller's book The Elements of Spellcasting and I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone wanting a better understanding on how the theory of witchcraft works and how to improve your spellcasting skills. The Witch of Wonderlust has a video on their Youtube channel as well discussing Jason's book, so definitely check that out too. Have any questions? Feel free to check out my Insta!

Hi everyone! In this episode, I discuss the ideas surrounding being able to remotely tap into the spirits/energies of pretty much anything. With this age of social media, we may feel pressured to have X, Y, and Z in order to be powerful witches/spiritual beings, but I'm here to say you can use the energies of these items without them being physically present. In my opinion, we can cultivate strong relationships with pretty much everything without them needing to be here physically. I think that if we build strong relationships and are in-tune, we can use the magical abilities in so many things like crystals, herbs, athames, and a can of soup lol! I mentioned Abi Huff from the Plant Spirit class at Ancestral Apothecary which you can find here: https://ancestralapothecaryschool.com . I brought up my friends Zaina who is a reiki practitioner if you want to check out her: https://www.reikilove.info/ . I also talked about what inspired this whole conversation which was a comment on @ritualinajar 's Insta post. Have any questions? Check out my Instagram! Thank you guys!
