Medicine + Magic

Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about how powerful rain, hail, and thunderstorms can be when used for spiritual cleanses. I also get a little emotional talking about the death of my step-father and how a storm was used to find some sense of closure with my relationship with him. I went to Apothocary11 to discuss some ideas of how to use stormwater when collected. https://apothecary11.com/blog/2020/03/15/collecting-storm-water/ . If you have any questions, feel free to check out my Instagram! I will also have some videos/pics of today's storm there on my Insta. Thank you guys!

Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about some thoughts surrounding being mixed and not fitting into either culture. My magical practices have been some of the very few spaces where I feel like I can embrace being mixed and can explore my cultural identities. I talk about seemingly being judged from Indigenous and Latin communities, while not fitting in with white society.  I also want to say as a disclaimer, I will never understand the struggles of being a BIPOC and my struggles aren't even close, I just want to talk about my thoughts surrounding being mixed. I HIGHLY recommend you guys listen to Kojey Radical's song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6CbtXl2JUM . Have any thoughts or questions? Check out my Insta!

Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about the importance of cleaning and using cleaning in witchcraft and our spiritual practices in celebration of Virgo season among us. I specifically talk about floor washes, sweeping, incense, herbs, and protection methods. Here is the Youtube URL for Family Conjure's Fiery Wall protection mix that I mentioned in this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2gApnCnTLU . They are some amazing intelligent women who truly know so much about magick. The book I mentioned is Druid Magic: The Practice of Celtic Wisdom by Maya Magee Sutton. Have thoughts or questions? I was inspired to make this episode after a zoom call with all my amazing Tarot Without Bullshit friends, from Sabrina Scott's tarot course. If you would like to share your thoughts or have questions, feel free to message me over Insta. The book I mentioned was The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
