Time = 15:01. Sometimes we feel scattered and pulled in many directions. Sometimes, we interact with others and unknowingly hold onto energy that doesn't belong to us, leaving us feeling anxious, worried, and restless. This meditation will allow us to become aware of energy that doesn't serve us, to let it go, and replenish our energy systems to feel grounded, centered, and protected. We end with heart breaths to lead in gratitude and to open the heart.

By taking a little time out of the day to be still, quiet, and scan the body to release, we may feel a little lighter, calmer, more at ease. Total time: 7 minutes 50 seconds. By changing our breathing, we can change the way we handle ourselves and the world around us. In this short breathing meditation, we will increase the length of our exhales. By increasing the length of the out-breath, we can provide a sense of deep relaxation to the vagus nerve, which will allow for increased parasympathetic system activity, helping us to find a deeper sense of calm and relaxation. This may help when feeling fatigued or overworked, anxious, or restless.
You can do this meditation while seated or lying down and is best done when wearing headphones. You might find this meditation to be particularly helpful right after you wake up or right before sleep. Please do not use this meditation while driving.

Total time = 8 minutes [final 4 minutes music alone]. This process will help you if you have trouble settling down before meditation. It's also helpful if you need to focus, slow down thoughts, or center your awareness on what's in front of you so you can offer your full attention to whichever task, project, or conversation. This is also good if you just feel scattered, distracted, and wish to bring in calm to your day.
The first part of this meditation will begin with alternate nostril breathing, a known practice that has a huge impact on body, mind, nervous system. By alternating air through the nostrils, we help calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and bring an overall feeling of relaxation to the body. The music will continue on so you can keep going for as long as you'd like. You can do this meditation while seated and is best when using headphones. Please do not use this meditation while driving.

Total Time = 13 minutes 14 seconds [final minute music only]. This meditation can be done anytime of the day, particularly AM or right before the after-work transition. We are pulled in many different directions all day long. This can cause us to fall into a more reactive state of being, losing ourselves in moments outside of the present, away from our truest self. Taking time to be still in the moment with awareness on the body, breath, and proceeding with deliberate intent will help us shape our day intentionally and align with what truly matters. You can do this meditation sitting or lying down and is best done when wearing headphones. Please do not listen to this podcast while driving.
