Episode 1 is a series of prayers utilizing the acronym IOUS which stands for incline, open, unite, and satisfy.  These four prayers come from Psalm 119:36, Psalm 119:18, Psalm 86:11b, and Psalm 90:14 respectively.  I first learned this acronym from John Piper and these prayers have become a consistent way to prepare my heart for each new day.

Meditations is a podcast designed to help you engage the Christian scriptures in a contemplative manner by slowly and imaginatively praying through and reflecting on various biblical passages. This effort is the result of thousands of hours of prayerful meditation on the Bible.  I'd like to share it with you in order to inspire your faith and deepen your worship of God.   CS Lewis says “For me, reason is the natural organ of truth; but imagination is the organ of meaning.
