John Gibbons is part of new manager Carlos Mendoza's coaching staff for the 2024 Mets, but this isn't his first time wearing Orange and Blue. Gibbons was drafted by the Mets in 1980 and won a world series with the Mets in 1986 as a bullpen catcher. Gibbons would make a name for himself as a major league manager with the Blue Jays and a podcaster.
