This episode is a longer one as I have a guest and we had so much to talk about. We recorded our conversation in two parts so this is part 1 and part 2 is coming next week.
I am talking to Carrie Holt who is a coach working with sensitives and introverts helping them discover their life purpose and fulfil their soul's mission. This is right up my street. Carrie also has a full time corporate job and she tells us how she manages to balance the two.
In this episode we talk about:
how having all the things we "should" have and we are told will make you feel good didn't make Carrie feel good at all, quite the opposite
how she recovered from severe adrenal fatigue hand in hand with a spiritual awakening
Carrie had a calling to do something else with her life but the fear of not making enough money and all the other usual fears kept her on the "normal" path
when she started to seek and embrace spirituality, amazing teachers, guides and insights came into her life
how "slowing down" actually leads to more creativity and getting things done faster - you can't hear your inner wise woman at 100mph!
when she realised she needed to ask for help, help came
how Carrie now manages to balance life as a mother, wife, coach and have a full time corporate job in a tech company - and that's with help, listening to what she needs and no social media. So many wise words in this episode. I learned a lot. Let me know what struck a cord with you.
