Virginia Roberts Giuffre has long alleged that she was introduced to Prince Andrew through Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in 2001, when she was 17 years old. According to her account, she first met the Duke of York at Maxwell’s London townhouse, where she was allegedly instructed to provide him with sexual services. Giuffre has said that Epstein and Maxwell orchestrated the encounter and pressured her into the situation, presenting Andrew as another powerful man within Epstein’s circle. A now-famous photograph shows Prince Andrew with his arm around Giuffre’s waist, with Maxwell smiling in the background—an image that has become central to her claims.


She further alleges that Epstein arranged two additional encounters: one at his Manhattan mansion and another on his private Caribbean island, Little St. James. In each instance, Giuffre has maintained she was directed to be intimate with Andrew as part of Epstein’s trafficking operation. Prince Andrew has categorically denied her claims, publicly stating he has “no recollection” of ever meeting her, disputing the photo’s authenticity, and maintaining that he never engaged in sexual activity with her.
