Melbourne/Port Adelaide - Matthew Bishop

Listen Later

This week we go back in time with former Melbourne and Port Adelaide utility Matthew Bishop. Matthew reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.

Matthew, who began his AFL journey as a rookie listed player with Melbourne, went on to play 150 games in his nine seasons at the top level. He played 132 games with Port Adelaide, including the 2004 premiership victory over Brisbane.

In this chat, Matthew talks about being picked up as a mature age recruit by the Dees, his trade to Port Adelaide, the premiership victory, the showdowns against Adelaide and playing under Mark Williams.

A great listen with the fiftieth member of 'The 90's Club Footy Podcast'.
