Melissa spent the majority of her youth in a state of profound depression and emotional pain until a spiritually transformative out of body experience that she refers to as a, "Near Death-Like Experience" changed the course of her life.    In this interview she shares the story of her upbringing in a fire and brimstone sort of church that warned its congregation about the likelihood of being sent to hell, about her subsequent depression and fear, and how it was her memory of having been in a beautiful heavenly place before birth and a blissful return to this realm that brought her back to life.
