Donato & Pedro met at a hospitality school back in 2008. After separate different adventures around the world in the hospitality industry they got back together to work in a Michelin star restaurant on the island of MALLORCA.
Donato & Pedro then decided to travel around Vietnam for 2 months. They fell in love with the country as the food, weather, people and ambience was amazing and really suited their personality . Donato and Pedro worked at different venues before deciding to take their own path and open a restaurant named KIBA. A place where East really meets West and the fusion of Spanish and Vietnamese cultures is translated into amazing food creations. It is definitely worth a visit.

Meet Saira Malhotra who believes that efficiency rules the day when it comes to cooking. That’s what her cooking classes in New York City are about: recapturing the sense of fun and discovery that’s still possible in home cooking, if you open yourself up to it.
It makes much more sense to throw together something easy and accessible, finding inspiration in everything from fresh farmer’s market, fresh strawberry, ice-pops (or ice-lollies) to Israeli breakfasts, to that one episode of Ugly Delicious you caught on Netflix, to whatever you have lying around in the pantry.
She says this as someone who graduated from the French Culinary Institute, has appeared in the New York Times and on Food Network’s Rewrappe but also as a mom: fussing over an authentic, perfectly-executed biryani counts for nothing when you only have 15 minutes to prepare dinner between taekwondo practice and mediating fights over Fortnite.
Currently Saira lives in New York City, and like so many people here, her story stretches far beyond the grid of Manhattan. She grew up in a London suburb to a Punjabi family who lived by a simple belief that family dinners can be spontaneous, sometimes-messy, and always-delicious.
From London she moved on to Italy, France, and eventually New York, deepening and adding layers to her approach to food at every step of the journey.
