Notes:
John Lewis is a speaker, motivator, author and single father of two daughters (ages 21 and 24), with his youngest graduating May 2023 from Brandeis University. With the death of his wife in 2016, he navigated the circuitous journey of his grief, finally choosing to rebuild his life. Like everyone else, he did not have an easy time of it, but now shares his journey with others, using it to demonstrate how one can use grief's negative energy to create positive outcomes. His book is titled, "Cook Away Your Grief: Using your Negative Energy to Create a Better Self," and he is about to launch his podcast (May 15, 2023) called "Giving Grief the Middle Finger."
