Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles — the podcast for midlife women who still believe in modern-day miracles, even in the middle of hot flashes, heartbreak, and allthe curveballs of midlife.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. Each week, we’re exploring what it means to navigate midlife with faith, humor, and hope — and how miracles can show upin the middle of menopause, relationships, reinvention, and love.
This is Episode 18: Divine Direction. We spend so much time planning how things should go — setting goals, making vision boards, micromanaging life — and yet, in all that planning, do we leave room for beingdivinely directed? Not just running on self-will and fierce independence, like we’ve got it all figured out, but staying open to something larger than ourselves… something that might be guiding us exactly where we need to be,instead of where we think we should go.
Now, people often mean “divine direction” in a faith-based sense, but across many perspectives, it’s less about a literal map and more about guidance that aligns you with a higher purpose.
Here are some ways divine direction often shows up:

Hey friends, welcome back to Men, Menopause & Miracles — the podcast for midlife women who are navigating all the things: dating, relationships, menopause, reinvention, and the small everyday miracles that remind us that life is still full of magic.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman — here to walk alongside you through this beautiful, messy, and transformative season of life. If you’re curious about how to thrive in midlife, if you’re craving real talk and a few laughs along the way, you are in the right place.
Midlife is full of transitions — career changes, kids leaving home, shifting identities, and yes, all the wild ups and downs of menopause. In this episode, I sit down with one of my very best friends, Susan, to talk about what it really looks like to move through these changes with honesty, humor, and a little bit of mojo.
Susan recently retired after a long career as an ER doctor, dropped her son off at college, and is stepping into her own next chapter as an empty nester. We get real about what it feels like to leave behind one version of yourself and embrace the transformation that comes next.
We also dive into:
What it’s like to transition from a high-intensity career into retirement
How perimenopause shows up (and how we deal with it!)
Why Gen X women approach midlife differently than our moms and grandmas did
What younger generations might learn from us about women’s health and aging
A few fun, unexpected takes on menopause, mojo, and reinvention
Whether you’re in the thick of midlife changes or just beginning to feel them, this conversation will remind you that you’re not alone — and that transformation can be full of possibility.

Welcome back to Men, Menopause & Miracles — thepodcast where we get real about midlife, relationships, and creating joy in the second half of life.
I’m Suzanne your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman, andtoday we’re diving into a juicy topic of midlife dating - Dating in Midlife - Green Lights & Red Flags.
Dating in your 40s, 50s, or beyond is a whole different ballgame than when we were in our 20s. You’ve got more life experience, more wisdom, maybe some good stories or couple scars, and hopefully — more clarity on what you want. With less landmines to avoid let’s hope and some green-light moves dating at this stage can be exciting instead of exhausting.
In short: warmth, presence, curiosity, and positivity are magnetic at any age, but especially in midlife, when authenticity matters more than performance.
So, what’s the takeaway? Midlife dating isn’t aboutperformance. It’s not about “selling yourself.” It’s about showing up with warmth, curiosity, and presence. Do that — and whether it’s coffee, wine, or a walk in the park — you’ll know quickly if the chemistry is real.

Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles — the podcast for midlife women who are ready to step into this season with clarity, confidence, and maybe a little sparkle of magic.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. Each week we explore what midlife really looks and feels like — the shifts, the surprises, and the opportunities to create the life you want in this powerful chapter.
So, here we are. Episode 13. And today, we’re talking about Your “M” Chapter.
Now, midlife gets talked about in a lot of different ways, right? For years it was the midlife crisis stereotype — panic, regret, maybe even that red Ferrari moment. But lately, we’ve been flipping the script.
What if, instead of crisis, we saw this season as an opening? A new chapter? A chance to pause, reassess, and even reinvent? Especially since we’re living longer — we’ve got more time to write a lot more chapters.
So, let’s leave the cliché Ferrari behind. And instead, let’s imagine painting our town red — or pink, or gold, or whatever color feels like YOU right now.
If you felt yourself nodding along, or if something landed for you, share this episode with someone else who might need it too. And hey, I’d love to know what resonated — leave a review, or send me a note: [email protected]. And make sure you hit subscribe so we can keep this midlife magic flowing.
