Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles, the podcast where midlife women explore strength in all its forms. Physical, emotional, energetic, and deeply personal. This is a space for conversations about becoming, about the subtle ways we rebuild ourselves, and about redefining what it means to feel powerful and safe in your body and in the spaces you inhabit.
Here, we talk about men, hormones, muscle, nourishment, beauty, and the shifts that happen when the rules you followed no longer work. It’s also where we explore how our environments shape us. The rooms we live in, the energy we surround ourselves with, and the ways our nervous systems respond when a space feels calm, supportive, and aligned with who we are becoming.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate the changes of midlife, reconnect with your body, and begin designing a life that supports your nervous system, not overwhelms it. This podcast is a place for women who are ready to listen more closely to themselves, create environments that feel like exhale instead of effort, and step into this season with clarity, strength, and intention.
This is Episode 42: Designing Safety - Nervous Systems & Spaces
My guest today is Elizabeth Armistead. Elizabeth is both a Transformational Coach and Feng Shui Consultant. What does that mean? Well, we’re going to find out today. In short, she helps clients with how their inner world shapes their outer world and vice versa. Elizabeth’s work lives in the intersection of psychology, environment, and energy. Today we discuss areas like Nervous System & Safety, Inner World vs. Outer World, and share practical takeaways for listeners.
You can listen to this episode on Spotify, Apple or iHeart, as well as watch it on YouTube under the handle @yourmidlifewingwoman
So grateful for Elizabeth's time and sharing her story, journey, and wisdom with us today. This conversation is a powerful reminder that the spaces we live in are not just where life happens, they are quiet partners in how we heal, how we feel, and how safe our nervous systems are allowed to be. When we begin to design our environments with intention, we often discover we’re really redesigning the way we experience ourselves and our lives.
You can find out more about Elizabeth and her offerings at https://www.elizabetharmistead.com/ or her Instagram profile Holistic Life Coach (@iamelizabetharmistead). She has a signature coaching process called “The Return,” an Artist Way Circle, breathwork, meditation and much more.
When you design your space with intention, you give your nervous system somewhere safe to land. Change the energy of your space, and you often change the energy of your life.
If this episode opened your eyes to the connection between your inner world and the spaces around you, make sure to Like, Subscribe, or Follow so you don’t miss what’s next. New episodes of Men, Menopause & Miracles drop every Monday.
And if someone in your life has been craving more calm, clarity, or simply a space that feels better to live in, share this episode with them. Sometimes the smallest shifts in our environment can create the biggest shifts in how we feel. And sometimes the right conversation arrives exactly when someone needs it most.
I’m Suzanne - Your Midlife Wingwoman. And this is Men, Menopause & Miracles. Midlife isn’t just about changing your body or your routines. Sometimes it’s about changing the space around you so the woman you’re becoming finally has room to breathe.
I’ll see you next Monday. Until then, take care. Bye for now!

Welcome back to Men, Menopause & Miracles, the podcast where midlife women explore who they are becoming and how they want to show up in love, connection, and the next chapter of their lives.
Yesterday was International Women’s Day, so a belated warmest wish to all the women in midlife and beyond. And welcome to anyone who’s listening for the first time. We’re here every Monday talking about men, hormones, dating, connection, and the relational shifts that happen when a woman begins rediscovering herself in midlife.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. I’m here to help you navigate the relational side of midlife with curiosity, confidence, and just enough courage to follow the spark when it appears. In today’s episode, we’re talking about flirting. The subtle art of connection, the signals we send and receive, and why midlife might actually be the perfect time to rediscover your playful, relational side.
This is Episode 41: Flirting in Midlife: The Lost Art of Spark
Not the lost ark, but the lost art of the spark. Yes, flirting is not something that should be put out to pasture in midlife. Last week I spoke about the miracle of connection and flirting is about connecting right? I find that many midlife women are so busy adulting and in responsibility mode or overload that they may take themselves a little too seriously most days to remember to do so.
Midlife flirting often feels unfamiliar because many women spent a few decades in roles where flirting wasn't necessary: somewhere between building careers, raising families, managing marriages, and navigating menopause, many of us stopped thinking about flirting altogether. Not because we couldn’t. But because life asked us to focus on everything else. So today we’re talking about something that might feel a little forgotten, a little awkward, and hopefully a little exciting in reigniting our spark.
Let’s talk about flirting in midlife. What it looks like now. What it feels like. And why the spark (your spark) is still very much alive. Not the teenage version. Not the performance version. But the alive, curious, feminine energy that signals interest without chasing.
Listen to this episode here on Spotify, Apple, iHeart or YouTube.
Reach out to me at [email protected] with your thoughts, stories or suggestions for episode discussions.
Flirting in midlife isn’t about trying to be someone you were twenty years ago. It isn’t about performing, impressing, or chasing attention. It’s about allowing a little curiosity back into the room. A little warmth in your smile.
A little playfulness in the way you relate to others. Sometimes the spark isn’t something you go looking for. It’s something that appears when you’re simply present, open, and willing to engage with the world around you. So this week, notice the moments. The glance, the conversation, the small exchanges that make you feel alive and connected.
Because the art of the spark was never something you lost. It may have just been waiting for you to remember it.
And as always, I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman, reminding you that midlife isn’t the end of the story when it comes to connection, attraction, and possibility. Sometimes it’s exactly where the most interesting chapters begin.
If today’s episode reminded you of the beauty of your own energy and the spark that still lives within you, take a moment to Like, Subscribe, or Follow so you don’t miss what’s next. New episodes drop every Monday.
And if this conversation made you smile, share the love of flirting in midlife with a friend you can swap stories with. Send them this episode and start the conversation. Heck… you could even send it to the person you’re flirting with and blame it on this episode for giving you the idea.
This is Men, Menopause & Miracles. Until next week, take care of yourself, stay open to connection, and keep an eye out for those little sparks. Bye for now!
Welcome back to Men, Menopause & Miracles, the podcast where midlife women explore what it means to stay connected, to their bodies, their relationships, andthemselves, as everything begins to shift. This is a space for conversations about presence, repair, and the often-overlooked strength that comes from being deeply met.
And welcome to anyone who’s listening for the first time. I’m so happy you’re here.
Here, we talk about men, hormones, muscle, nourishment, beauty, and the relational changes that surface when familiar patterns stop working, and you’re invited to listen morecarefully, to your body, your emotions, and the people around you.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman.
I’m here with you as you move through this season - offeringperspective, steadiness, and a little backup when things feel uncertain. Let this episode reconnect you with what’s been muted or missed, and present opportunities to choose ways of relating to yourself and others, that reflect who you are becoming now.
This podcast is a place for women in midlife who are ready to take the resilience they’ve built and put it towards more meaningful connection, trust what they feel as much as whatthey know, and step into this season with awareness, steadiness, and intention.
This is Episode 40: The Miracle of Connection
A connection miracle happens when a bond - human, spiritual, or even yes today technological, creates healing, repair, or meaning where there was or is distance or pain.
This bond has transformative power. Such moments often feel supernatural.
Let’s look at some key facets of Connection Miracles:
Let’s explore how to experience or create Connection Miracles:

And if someone you care about is moving through midlife andcould use a reminder that they don’t have to navigate it alone, consider sharing this episode with them. Sometimes a story, a pause, or a shared listen is its own form of connection, arriving exactly when it’s needed.
I’m Suzanne - Your Midlife Wingwoman. And this is Men,Menopause & Miracles. I’ll see you next Monday. Until then, take care, and stay connected. Bye for now.
Welcome back to Men, Menopause & Miracles. If episode Episode 33 titled ‘Menopause – Now What? And What Just Happened?’ helped you feel less alone, this episode mayfeel a little more tender. Because today we’re talking about something many women barely whisper or rarely say out loud.
Why do I feel so different?
Not just physically. Emotionally. Relationally. Existentially.
Maybe your patience feels thinner. Your tolerance for nonsense has completely evaporated. Maybe relationshipsthat once fit, now feel tight or uncomfortable. Maybe you’requestioning work, marriage, friendships, or the version of yourself you’ve been in and performing for years.
This can feel scary – at times really scary. Even debilitating, like you’re losing your edge. That edge that has allowed you to grind through work, long hours, kids schedules and care, being of service to your friends, family and other organizations. That edge that was the illusion that you could do it all, well almost. But we know there was definitely some sacrifice in there – time, money, peace of mind, health and even enjoyment of things you may have wanted to do.
But here’s what I want to offer gently: in this moment, what I call your menopause notification moment, you’re not unraveling. You’re shedding.
This is Episode 39: Menopause: Why Do I Feel So Different?
In this episode we review matters like:
And so much more. Listen to us here on Spotify, Apple, iHeart or YouTube @yourmidlifewingwoman
And be sure to reach out to me at: [email protected] and share your likes, dislikes and discomforts in midlife or menopause. I'd love to hear any quiet miracles you may be experiencing too.
So we’ve talked about orientation in Now What? And What Just Happened?’ and emotional truth today Why Do I Feel So Different?. Our next menopause episode is about agency. Because once you understand what’s changing and why you feel different, a new question emerges. Like What do I want now? And that question isn’t selfish. It’s necessary.
If you’re feeling different right now, let this be reassuring. Nothing has gone wrong. Your system is responding to change, not failure. The emotions, the sensitivity, thelowered tolerance. These aren’t signs that you’re unraveling. They’re signals that something important is asking to be heard.
You don’t need to fix it all today. You don’t need to make big decisions from the middle of the feeling.
Just listen. Gently. In our next episode, we’ll talk about what comes next. About choice, agency, and how to move forward in a way that honors who you are now.
Until then, be kind to yourself. I’m Suzanne - Your Midlife Wingwoman, and you’re not alone in this.
Be sure to Like, Subscribe, or Follow so you’re notified when new episodes drop every Monday. You can also find Men, Menopause & Miracles on YouTube now.

This is Men, Menopause & Miracles. Take good care of yourself. I’ll see you next week. Bye for now!
Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles, the podcast where midlife women explore who they are becoming and how they want to be seen. A podcast about beauty, identity, and the quiet confidence that comes with midlife. Here, we talk about men, hormones, beauty, identity, desire, and the everyday moments of clarity that arrive when your inner life and outer expression finally start to align.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. I’m here to help you feel at home in yourself. In your body, your choices, and the version of you that’s emerging now – especially after the shifts or shake ups in that tend to mark midlife.
This is a place for women in midlife reconnecting with their intuition, refining their identity, and choosing alignment over expectation. And yes, we invite men into these conversations too.
This is Episode 38: Me & My Shadow
Let me set the mood. This episode is a fireside conversation with the parts of us that prefer candlelight to spotlight. It’s winter. The days are shorter. We’re inside more. And, winter, heartbreak, stalled dreams, or career pivots don’t create theshadow. They reveal it.
Add perimenopause or menopause to the mix, and it can feel like a dimmer switch on daylight of certainty. Estrogen shifts, sleep fragments, patience thins, and suddenly the inner world refuses staying politely as just background noise. You have things you want to keep quite or hidden that are now shouting your name.
Midlife is all about making yourself known, your whole self, so there are parts of ourselves that no longer willing to stay tucked away. This episode is an invitation to stop arguing with that revelation. Because midlife is when the parts of us we outgrew, or barely knew, knock and ask to be let back in.
Take a listen on Spotify, Apple or iHeart. Or, watch on YouTube search “yourmidlifewingwoman”.
If I look back at my life one thing I know for sure, I can handle anything that comes my way and come out on okay on the other side. I’ve gone through many seasons, includingWinter and Spring, and so have you.
Here’s a simple invitation, not a solution: Tonight, don’t banish your shadow. Sit beside it. You might discover it has been keeping watch while you were busy becoming someone else. Then let silence breathe for a beat. Podcasts rarely do that. Itwill feel intimate. Allow your shadow to have a place in your life and get to know her.
Before you go, here’s your reminder: you don’t have to have it all figured out to be exactly where you’re meant to be. Midlife is a season of refinement. Of choosing what fits, what feels true, and what reflects who you are now. Try something on. Leave something behind. You’re allowed to make it up in ways that feel aligned, beautiful, and fully yours.
Be sure to Like, Subscribe, or Follow so you’re notified when new episodes drop every Monday.

This is Episode 37: Making It Up In Midlife.
A conversation about beauty, identity, and giving yourself permission to “make it up” as you go. Because midlife isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about giving yourself permission to experiment, refine, and create a life that really reflects who you are today. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop trying to get it right and go with what feels right.
My guest today is Jazmin Guerrero. Jazmin is a lifestyle content creator for midlife women with her ‘Over 40 Beauty’ Instagram profile where she shares collaborations, reviews and tutorials on all things skincare, beauty, makeup and sometimes fashion too.
Jazmin lets you into her world of finding what works for you in midlife and making sense of the many, many products out there. Even though she’s very busy as a content creator, Jazmin understands what it takes in trying to do it all – being a wife, a mother, keeping a household together and building a small empire in her spare time. And, she makes it look fun!

Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles — the podcast for midlife women navigating love, identity, and reinvention in a world that didn’t exactly prepare us for this chapter. This is where we talk about the things many women are thinkingwhen it comes to dating and relationships… but hesitate to say out loud.
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman. I’m here to help you make sense of this landscape without losing yourself, lowering your standards, or believing there’s something wrong with you for wanting more. Hence, the reason you may be afraid to share your experience with your married friends who remember dating as being easy. Or family who wonders why you’re being picky or not doing enough things to put yourself out there.
I’m not here to sell you false hope or tell you to “just be positive.” I’m here to allow you to be real for a minute. I’m going to talk with you one single girlfriend to another and have our own form of talk therapy via this podcast.
This is Episode 36: When You’re Ready… and the Dating World Isn’t
Today, we’re going to open three small doors together — gently. This is not a self-improvement marathon. No emotional homework binders needed. This episode is a little recalibration, not a renovation.
Take a listen or catch this episode on YouTube!
If this episode resonated, remember let it land gently and be sure to Like, Subscribe or Follow so you’re notified of each new episode that drops every Monday. And if this episode felt like a big hug be sure to share it with another single midlifewoman in need of one too.
Readiness isn’t a flaw – it isn’t your flaw. Having discernment isn’t a problem but some realistic protection. And wanting something real at this stage of life doesn’t make youunrealistic — it makes you honest, it makes you human.
If you’re navigating dating in midlife and wonderingwhether you’re asking for too much, I want you to know this: clarity will never ask you to abandon yourself. You are not behind. You are not too much. And you haven’t missed your window. Midlife dating isn’t about trying harder — it’s about staying aligned while the world catches up.
Consider opening up and engaging in some 1:1 coaching this February to help you gain clarity and navigateyour readiness, visit my website www.empowermentcoachsuzanne.com and schedule a freecomplimentary discovery session with me. I’d love to guide you through filling your relational blank spaces, build yourintimacy ecosystems or create future-oriented pleasure to be living a full life in midlife.

Wherever you are on this path — you don’t have to walk it alone or doubting yourself. Thanks for being here —and I’ll see you next time. Bye for now!
Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles, the podcast where we talk about the things midlife women are thinking about maybe at 3 a.m. but rarely may say out loud or share with a friend. I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman.
And today we’re talking about something that looks ordinary on the surface but holds entire lifetimes underneath it.
Clutter.
Not the kind you fix with matching bins or a Saturday afternoon. I’m talking about the clutter that carries memory. The clutter that belongs to past versions of ourselves. Theclutter that quietly asks us to keep holding what we’ve already outgrown.
For many women at midlife, clutter isn’t just in our homes. It’s in our bodies, our schedules, our relationships, our expectations. At this stage, it becomes transparent.Suddenly what we once tolerated feels heavy or unnegotiable.
So today, we’re exploring clutter as a mirror. As a message. And maybe, even as a rite of passage into the woman we’re becoming.
This is Episode 35 titled ‘When Memories Take Up Space: A Midlife Cleanse’.
For many midlife women, the battle with clutter isn’t about mess; it’s about meaning, identity, and emotional weight. They feel it physically in their homes and mentally in theirminds. But they’re also using this stage of life to redefine what matters, letting go of the old to make room for a more intentional and purposeful next chapter.
My guest today is Lili Petit owner and creator of Clutter Healing. Lili is a Clutter Healer who matches expert organization with intuitive energetic cleansing to evaluate, coordinate and completely rejuvenate the home. Trained in a series of respected and time-honored traditions, Lili works one-on-one with clients to identify and uncover emotional attachments to their possessions and embark on a gentle, yeteffective, path toward releasing and removing them from the home. She’s been recognized in publications like InStyle and Wall Street Journal.
Lili understands that letting go is never just about stuff. It’s about identity, grief, nervous systems, and the quiet courage it takes to choose yourself in this chapter.
Take a listen to this great conversation!
You can find Lili at www.clutterhealing.com where you’ll find her upcoming events, her blog and Clutter Healing® Conscious Consuming Guide. Lili offers 1:1 Clutter Healing Guidance Sessions, Sacred Space, as well as House Healing + Clearing and Breathwork Healing.
If this conversation stirred something in you, be sure to Like, Subscribe or Follow so you’re notified of each new episode that drops every Monday. And if this episode gave you new ways to responding to clutter, share it with a midlife woman who’s navigating similar questions in her space.
The clutter you’re facing isn’t proof of failure. It’s proof of a full life. Of love, responsibility, care, and chapters that mattered.
Midlife has a way of stripping away what no longer fits. Not to punish us, but to free us.
And maybe this stage of life isn’t asking you to overhaul everything or reinvent yourself before Tuesday. Maybe it’s simply inviting you to notice what no longer feels like you. To honor what carried you once, without insisting it carry you forward. To choose space, not because you’re emptying your life, but because you finally value your energy more than your storage.
Maybe it’s asking you to listen differently. To notice what doesn’t feel a part of who you are now. Tohonor what carried you once, but is not what is needed to carry you forward. To choose space, not because you’re emptying your life, but because you’re making room for what’s next.
So, if you’re standing in a room, literally or emotionally, wondering where to begin, start with this question: Does this belong to who I am now? You just need honesty and a littlecourage… and maybe a donation bag nearby.
I’m Suzanne - Your Midlife Wingwoman. And this is Men, Menopause & Miracles. Until our next conversation.
Bye for now!

Welcome to Men, Menopause & Miracles – the podcast that cuts through the noise around midlife, menopause, and modern relationships, and replaces it with truth, tools, and a little well-earned perspective. The podcast where midlife gets honest, embodied, and a whole lot less lonely – I’ve got you girl!
I’m Suzanne, your host and Your Midlife Wingwoman.I know what it’s like to wake up in a body that suddenly feels unfamiliar. To question your energy, your mood, your patience, and wonder when the rules quietly changed. I’ve stood in that in-between space where you’re still you…but something is undeniably shifting.
I didn’t come to this work through textbooks. I came through lived experience, honest conversations, and listening closely to what midlife was asking of me. And what it was asking wasn’t to push harder or fix myself. It was asking me to slow down, get curious, and learn a new language for my body and my life.
Remember as Your Midlife Wingwoman, I’m not here totell you what to do. I’m here to walk beside you. To help you make sense of what’s happening, name what you’re feeling, and remind you that this season isn’t a breakdown. It’s a recalibration.
