This is a very special podcast - we recorded this onsite at "The Shopp" a local barbershop in Indianapolis, IN located at 6206 LasPas Trail. One of the best barbershops in Indy. I go there myself!
Nevertheless, I am joined by The Twin Brothers Network Podcast - (Shawn and Ricardi), Amir and Jaylen (two 15 year olds with tons of wisdom), DeAndre and Aaron (both dropping nuggets).
This is a very good podcast that talks about how we as black families aren't the same anymore and how some of us have lost the foundation and meaning of family - so the question is...How do we get it back?

How many times have we acted on impulse instead of letting thoughts "simmer" so we could use reasoning, patience, or logic. What has that type of behavior cost us in the long run? Join us as we discuss this type of behavior that we "ALL" are guilty of.
Join my guests and ITSMF Power54 Leadership Academy Family (Carla Forte, Ethan Bingham and Jared Palmer) any myself (Bazz) as we discuss how letting thoughts simmer always taste better for the human spirit.
By the way you can learn more about ITSMF here.

What does the word "enough" mean to you? For some of us, its the end or completion of something (i.e., You've done enough.) But is it really? Do you have enough? Does "enough" change as you get older? Is the life you live "enough" for you?
Also consider some of the following:
Join us (Tanish and myself - Bazz) as we go deep in the rabbit hole on is enough a moving target!

We all deal with conflict in some manner. Whether its conflict within our relationships, family, friends and even loved ones. The question is how should we deal with conflict and how do we get joy out of it?
Well, on this episode I am joined by two young positive brothers, Rekardi and Sean D from the Twin Brothers Network podcast.
We discuss some of the challenges involving conflict and listen in as they share some of their experiences and solutions. I guess an old man like myself can still learn something.

It's 2023 and SuperBowl Sunday. So just like in previous years the fellas and I got together to on SuperBowl Weekend to fellowship and hang out. In addition, we recorded another podcast. This one is about being "man enough".
The interesting thing here is we as men ask ourselves this question all the time. Are we really man enough to handle life around us, most importantly are we man enough to handle ourselves.
Listen in as my guest (JD, Eric, Cory and BJ) and myself (Bazz) just share thoughts on this subject and try to connect as friends.

Every ask yourself "Why did I get married?" well I am sure we all have asked ourselves that question in our "marriage journey". It is a valid question and sometimes we need a reminder to understand the importance of a union. Its not about a piece of paper, its about love, respect, committment, friendship, compromise and especially understanding.
Nevertheless, listen in on this topic of "What's The Value of Marriage" with my special guest and fellow podcaster "Angel" from Too Real, Too Funny. Check out her Link.
I really enjoyed having a woman's perspective on this one.

Bazz (the host) takes some time out to speak to his audience on the past direction of MSO and apologizes for some of the subject matter shared. He also mentions that was NEVER the intent of the podcast and to look forward to more heartfelt topics in 2023.

What does childhood trauma look like in adults? Childhood trauma in adults can impact experiences and relationships with others due to experienced feelings of shame, and guilt. Childhood trauma also results in feeling disconnected, and being unable to relate to others.
In this episode we continue the discussion on Childhood Trauma and Today's Impact. I am joined by my guests (E-Dub, JD, Tracy, and Parris). Each one of my guests share a traumatic experience while at the same time we recorded this on Thanksgiving 2022, as we all shared some of the blessings we are thankful for. This podcast is also viewable online at YouTube.
