Men Who Like Men Who Like Movies!

There’s something wrong with Pearl! If only Orphan hadn’t used that tagline first… This week, Clayton and Shawn talk about Ti West’s masterful prequel to X - Pearl: An X Origin Story! Shawn thinks the 1936 novel Gone with the Wind came out twenty years prior, and Clayton shares his own farming experience, amid discussions of Mia Goth’s award worthy performance, the merits of great cinematography, and THAT final scene. This week Shawn and Clayton talk about one of their favorite guilty pleasures - the film Sorority Row from 2009! See who can out quote the other as we try to piece this one together from memory alone shortly after a watch! Drink every time we say bitchy! (Not really, that would be dangerous) But seriously this one was a lot of fun, guys, we hope you like it!

Let’s talk about X, baybeee!!! This week Clayton and Shawn are discussing X, the Ti West film from earlier this year. Come for Clayton’s impersonations of Brittany Snow faking it, Shawn saying deviants a lot, and stay for deep discussions from both of us on the sex positivity and themes of aging that are so well done in this one. You might just find out the two keys to a healthy relationship in here as well… References Used - X Marks the THOT (That Hag Over There) - Nate Roscoe

This week Shawn and Clayton discuss the 1986 blockbuster Aliens! Listen to hear Clayton provide compelling evidence that Newt is actually a serial killer on the rise, and also break out into song 3 (or four) times; or if you want to hear Shawn prove he is an Alien franchise expert (and see where his breaking point is on anyone who dares to love it any less than him) References used: (and our Twitter account). We’re Shawn and Clayton, and we’re Men Who Like Men Who Like Movies! This is just a little get to know us sesh, complete with Dead Silences and all to fully capture the awkwardness of this momentous event! We’ll typically be talking about and reviewing movies, but this special treat is just for the vibes! Clayton might be a bit far from his mic at times, but it’s definitely worth listening to, just like Kristen Bell’s sloth meltdown.
