Yes this holiday classic from 1946 certainly needs no introduction, but if you still aren't convinced drop everything, call and tell someone you love them, then come right back and listen to the guys make fun of Uncle Billy.  

It's been a seasonal staple for many years but does that mean there's been more time to refine the formula? Does the five minute finale warrant such a long build-up?  Is there anyone with a heart so cold they would actually believe we would criticise this film ESPECIALLY at Christmas time?

This time join The Men Who Stare at GOATs are back with a mission, as we revisit another James Cameron classic, and another movie where machines try to kill us, it's 1984s Terminator!

It's easy to forget how sacred films were back before we just kept getting sequels and spin-offs, but for a long time this movie was the pinnacle of gritty sci-fi, action, horror or some might say Tech Noir..

 With the true birth of a star in Arnold Schwarzenegger as the relentless and eyebrow-less killing machine, we will discuss whether this film effects are ahead of its time, or belong back in the stone-age. Is the pacing and exposition as long-winded as stop motion or does it punctuate the action scenes as smooth and fluid as liquid metal? And of course we'll decide if it gets a place on THE GOAT LIST.

So while Alicia Silverstone might have gone MIA we can all agree she smashes it as Cher and sets the bar for the next 10-15 years of high school comedies, in this loveable retelling of Jane Austins' Emma.

Its filled with striking colours, a massively diverse soundtrack and more valley-girl vernacular than a make-over at the mall. But does it have what it takes to make it on...
