⚾😀 I was hoping for a comeback win in the Yankees' season, but alas, it was not to be.
But if they had pulled it out, it would have been because each player owned his turn at the plate.
You can find some parallels for this in your life outside the ballpark.
The best thing about the holidays is spending time with family.
But sometimes being around our families bring out some old patterns and anxieties we thought we had dealt with.
You might find yourself slipping back into some feelings you don't like when you get around family.
You can't control your family, but you can control how you react and what (and who) you'll allow to mess with you.
Joe and Lori share some ideas for how you can set some boundaries so you can really enjoy your holiday experience.

On top of being mental health professionals, we've got 30 years of marriage under our belts, too! We've certainly learned a lot about each other and ourselves in the process.
We'll share some of our experiences and riff a bit on life.
Together we'll unpack some of the ways we've observed ourselves and others overcome life's challenges.
In our very first episode, we share our thoughts on our new journey together, and talk a bit about discouragement.

But it gave me the time and space to reconsider my intentions - and resolve to run with intention.

So yesterday I was talking about how it's okay to quit sometimes. Now today, I want you to find ways to give yourself a break and keep going. Life sure is confusing sometimes!
We all know that saying, "Winners never quit and quitters never win." Is that true? There are plenty of folks in history who stopped doing one thing that wasn't working for them so they could pull a lever on something that does. But how do you know?
We can get a few clues from this weekend's kerfuffle over NFL quarterback Andrew Luck. He's a quitter. For all the right reasons. Here are a few things to take away from his story.
