Merely Players

Back in the tunnels beneath United City, the gang has run out on the Ealings Outpost Town and find their way into Morlock Facilities West. Re-uniting with old friends, they begin to pull at the threads of what strange creations have been going on in this forgotten part of the world, and the ramifications it may have for everyone.

It's one fight after another as the gang comes out of the wreckage of the Tomb of Rogon with fists swinging. They've got a race against the clock to get back across the desert and make the antidote that can save not only Tük, but also Alluin, Reveriel, and Dyrt from slowly turning to stone. Will these heroes live to fight another day?

Our goal is to keep this show light but also meaningful, so if we fall into scenes that are difficult to listen to, we ask that you look after yourselves. It's an experimental episode this week folks! Jumping back in time, we explore what went on from the moment that Jack Watts laid his hands on the orb inside The GamesHouse and his meeting with the mysterious AI that they found there. How will he get out of his own head? Who will save him this time, with his friends having gone off on their own adventure? And will he ever get to see them again?

It's Jack Watts and Company versus the world this week in United City: 2173

Welcome back to United City - or should I say, welcome to the Underground! Our heroes, along with their new companion, Aurin, have made their way to the Ealings, where things are locked down and tense. But in this absolutely chaotic ride, leave it to Sylvester Ecks to break all the ice. Please remember to wash your hands!

Welcome back to United City! Having dropped (quite literally) Jack Watts off with The Black Hand, the remaining trio rest for the evening in V's flat above the bar and make a few revelations about themselves and who this figure may be, before being whisked down below the surface of the city, into the abandoned rail system that once made up the Underground, where they meet the strange and horrifying Dr. Alter Coti and his top officer, Aurin.

Content Advisory:

1:30:30-1:30:40: Direct threat of torture.

Trapped in The GamesHouse with a now-unconscious, but possibly still possessed, Jack Watts, the gang needs to make a break for it as the clock comes winding down and the New Year is upon us: could these new tidings bring about something much larger and much stranger afoot? And where do they turn for help in their investigation into the murdered Cloy Breck and their new companion's larger problems?
