During the closing night of GirlTalk 2026, Sis. Janice Sjostrand teaches from 1 Thessalonians 5:23 about the God of peace sanctifying the whole person—spirit, soul and body. She shares a formative personal testimony about choosing to become a great work rather than simply do a great work, and explores how surrender changes our will, words and responses.

What happens when faith moves from something we believe to something we act on?

What do you do when God has spoken, but you haven't seen the promise fulfilled yet?

Rev. Joe Hadaway shares from Habakkuk 2:3 that the vision has an appointed time. God's Word is reliable, and even when fulfillment doesn't happen immediately, what He has spoken is worth holding onto.

Through the story of Peter walking on the water and a deeply personal testimony about his own health journey, Hadaway challenges us to believe God's Word enough to speak it, walk in it and keep trusting while we wait.

God's mercy still reaches people at their lowest.

Preaching from Psalm 136 and John 8, Rev. Mitchell Davidson reflects on the woman brought to Jesus expecting condemnation. Instead, she encountered love, compassion and mercy.

What comes out of your mouth when nothing is going right?

In Job 1–2, Satan argues that Job only serves God because God has blessed and protected him. Take away what he has, Satan says, and Job will curse God.

But when Job’s world falls apart, Job grieves—and worships.

In The Devil’s After Your Praise, Pastor Jason Sharp teaches that the enemy’s ultimate goal is not merely to attack what we possess. He wants pressure and adversity to change what comes out of our mouths.

Will we praise God only when we feel blessed? Or will we continue to worship when we don’t understand what He has allowed?

In Psalm 23, David begins by speaking about God: “He leadeth me. He restoreth my soul.” But when he reaches the valley, his language changes: “Thou art with me.”

What was third person becomes first person.

In We’re Going Somewhere, Pastor Jason Sharp teaches about the difference between knowing about God and knowing Him personally. The Shepherd doesn’t promise that we will never walk through a valley, but He promises His presence as He leads us through it.

Through David’s victory over Goliath and the contrasting responses of Saul and David when confronted with sin, Pastor challenges us to stop depending on borrowed confidence, protecting our reputation or living for the approval of people.

We have to know God for ourselves.

In Acts 19, Paul faithfully taught the Word of God until Scripture says that all who lived in Asia heard the Word of the Lord. What began with teaching became a revival that changed lives, transformed values and affected an entire region.
